Terrence Charles, the man charged with the 2010 murder the Allen ‘Tiger’ Hodge was today committed to stand trial in the October assizes of the High Court.
In a closed-door session in the Magistrate’s Court today, the Crown presented its paper committal to Chief Magistrate Valery Stevens.
BVI News Online understands that the Crown received, on Wednesday, DNA blood evidence results confirming the Charles’ presence in the victim’s home and car.
Charles is believed to be the triggerman behind Tiger’s death.
The 26-year-old man appeared in court on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, where the Crown’s evidence was revealed to him.
He was charged officially on June 5, 2011 for the execution style killing of 42-year-old Allen ‘Tiger’ Hodge, at his home in Mayaba in September of last year.
Police believe a revolver was used in the killing.
