The parade shouldn’t be scheduled til 2pm in the afternoon anyway b/c jouvert is in the morning & everybody in a troupe goes to jouvert.
for the fools that are not part of or never been in a troupe as always the troups were all lined up starting from Queen Elizabeth park straight down past Right Way since 11AM and like always EVERY YEAR we stand patiently waiting on PARADE COMMITTE to show up. So for you who dont know better look at the people on the committe thats never there on time. This is my tenth year being in a troupe and its always the same thing every year they tell us be there and we still have to be waiting on the committee. So onlookers dont blame the troupes for you sitting in the hot sun. And maybe instead of complaining for a change come a join in and enjoy what carnival is truely about. Shame on u all.
Too many onlookers. This is our festival join a troupe and participate. There will be no complains since all of us will be in the parade. Then and only then will some of you experience what it takes to get started.
Why was the parade 3 hours late in starting. It is as if the participants have no respect for the organizing committee. The start of the parade was scheduled at 11AM, yet one float was seen fueling up at Delta – Pasea at 12 noon. How shameful
People are not concerned about the onlookers who stand in the sun for hours waiting. participants needs to respect the time and be considerate of others.
