Spectacular Spencer Read is returning to the British Virgin Islands to perform December 5 through January 4 in Sam’s Piano Bar at The Rock Café on Virgin Gorda.
Spencer has been performing on the international piano circuit since he was 17 years old. His work has taken him throughout the U.K., Europe, the Americas and the Caribbean.
He has a big voice and a huge catalogue of great songs covering five decades from the ’60s through contemporary, and cutting across all genres.
There are too many artistes that he covers to mention here. His influences include The Stones, Dylan, The Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd, Queen, Michael Jackson, George Michael, Elton John, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
Spencer enjoys reading and making lists. He’s also a movie buff (get him to connect any two film stars) and a walking music encyclopedia!
He performs nightly, except Sundays, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
