Colours lit up the streets of Road on August 7 as the Annual Cultural made its way to the Claudette Boopie Smith Festival Village.
The parade saw entries depicting historical and cultural icons, and also saw businesses such as Delta Petroleum being a part of the parade.
One of the highlights was the fact that most of the entry participants shook bottles as the 2012 Showtime Band hit “Shake the Bottle” blasted over loud speakers. Entries such as the Anasazi and Sunshine Dancers wowed with the well-choreographed routines.
Winners of the parade have not yet been announced. But BVI News Online will provide updates of this as becomes available.
