A Rise and Shine without incident

The 2012 Rise and Shine tramp went off without a hitch and hundreds of revelers descended on the cruise ship dock for what can be described as a brief impromptu band clash between Showtime and Xtreme Band.
Xtreme chanted “This is for you, and you, Showtime and you crew…. come for your licks.” However the call was not responded to by Showtime who were surrounded by hundreds of bottle shakers.
Showtime, who got off to a late start because of technical difficulties, cried foul and stated that they were sabotaged. However they got lots of followers and seemed content.
Some revelers were armed with big bags of Robin Hood Floor which they doused on revelers. After the flour was used bottles of water were filled from the fountain in the Mill Mall area and splashed on people.

The rise and shine tramp was good, im glad to see it had MARSHALLS making sure the tramp run smooth and safe….I must is BIG UP to chairman for parade and jouvert sub-committee MR.OTTLEY and his MARSHALL trust me Ottley you had your Marshall is place at EACH bands thats great we need to have things like these at ALL times.
Where i come from not a marshall in place only cops dress up like us having a grand time…this is something i would take back and say…Thanks BVI i had fun. Love you Ottley i tried to meet you but you was so busy making sure it run rise and shine and parade runs smooth.

we done loose, it disheartening to see how many showed up at the emancipation ceremony at sunday morning well to signify the real reason for this celebration at this time of the year. Instead you got hundreds showing up for a rise and shine ready to display all sort of vulgar behaviors. shame shame shame. if you forget your history you just might end up repeating it. Teach the people the truth.
