Airing of dialysis in the Virgin Islands

The Ministry of Health and Social Development informs the public that its newest educational video documentary entitled Dialysis in the Virgin Islands will be aired this Saturday, September 11 at 7:45 p.m. on JTV Channel 55.
The programme highlights some of the ways in which the Territory continues to be impacted by the high number of persons who require dialysis treatment at the Peebles Hospital. Dialysis in the Virgin Islands also looks at doable lifestyle changes that can help to prevent kidney failure, and the need for dialysis.
Release of this video documentary will form part of the British Virgin Islands’ observance of Caribbean Wellness Day 2010. Please contact the Ministry of Health and Social Development for further information on 468-3701 extension 3122.
