“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth.” – Galatians 3:1a
There is a high level of bewitchment in the atmosphere as we count down the days to the November 7th election. The word bewitch means to place under one’s power by or as if by magic; cast a spell over, to captivate completely; entrance or charm. As Paul warned the Galatians in Galatians 3:1, today we warn all in this land, do not be deceived and do not allow anyone to bewitch you.
In Galatians 5:16 it states “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” In verses 19-21 it further states “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
When someone bewitches another they manipulate and control the person’s will through their actions and words. They use smooth talk, give gifts and do things to influence the person into doing and saying things that they really do not desire to do. The bottom line is those who bewitch use and abuse others for their own gain and means. They really have no good intentions towards the person or persons but see them as a means to thier end.
They buy people out because they think people are desperate and foolish. One who is bewitched really does not see that they are being used and abused. Their minds become controlled and blinded by the charming words and deeds. They think they are being helped when in actuality they are being hindered. They believe lies and think it is the truth. They think they are being freed when in actuality they are being brought into bondage through intimidation and manipulation. As you being bewitched? Are you believing lies? Do not be witched, be wise!
The spirit of Jezebel is running wild in this hour. Both males and females can be influenced by the Jezebel spirit. Although it is more prominent in females when it is in a male it is displayed in the form of arrogance, pride, high-mindedness, sabotage, deception, threats of fear. Elijah was a powerful prophet of God but when Jezebel sent a message to him telling him that she will have him killed, Elijah became fearful and wanted to die.
The spirit of fear is not from God. Do not allow those operating in the Jezebel spirit using threats and spirits of fear to bring you despair. Beware of the Jezebel spirit in this hour and do not allow it to entangle you. When the Jezebel spirit is in operation there is no peace. “When Joram saw Jehu, he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, How can peace exist as long as the fornications of your mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?” 2 Kings 9:22 Do you want to live in peace, then do not allow yourself to be witched, be wise.
Voters, when we go to the voting booth, how we vote is between us and God. Let us all ask God for godly wisdom and direction, uninfluenced by evil, manipulation and wickedness as we vote. If you are registered to vote please go and vote. Do not give up your right to vote and then complain after. Our votes will determine what happens in this land not only for us but for our children and generations to come. THIS ELECTION IS CRITICAL! Do not be witched, be wise!
Whether you are a voter or not, be sure to cover yourself, your family, your home, your vehicle and your possessions with the blood of Jesus Christ. We bind the spirit of premature death, the spirit of accident, the spirit of voodoo, witchcraft, necromancy and every marine and religious spirit from over this land and this people in the name of Jesus Christ. We decree and declare that voters will be led by the spirit of God as we vote according to the will of God. We bind the spirit of confusion, every form of wickedness and deceit that may try to operate on Election Day in the name of Jesus Christ.
We are believing God for an exceptional and excellent report of our election procedures in the name of Jesus Christ. We decree the word of God in the atmosphere and declare that only God’s plans and purpose will prevail for this land. All that the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it around for good in the name of Jesus Christ. We speak forth sound minds, divine wisdom and godly directions for all voters in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ; we bind every spirit of deception that would try and convince people not to vote or is clouding their minds and wills.
We cover every polling station, counting station, our governor, the supervisor or elections, the deputy supervisor of elections, every polling clerk, counters, tabulators, auditors, police men on duty, other electoral employees, every vehicle transporting voters and ballot boxes and our guest observers with the blood of Jesus Christ. We cover all the candidates with the blood of Jesus Christ and we will continue to believe that God’s candidates will be voted into the next House of Assembly, in Jesus name. We decree godly wisdom in the formation of the government and bind the spirit of confusion and the struggles for power in this process in Jesus name.
Much prayer and fasting has been and is being done on behalf of this land and for this critical election. We believe that God will hear the prayers of the righteous and His will be done in this crucial hour. We declare that the righteous will rule and that one way or another the people of this land will fear God and realize that in the midst of wickedness, evil, multitude of witchcraft, our God reigns and He answers by fire.
Whatever the outcome of the elections let us continue to pray and believe God for His divine will and purpose to be done in the British Virgin Islands. The truth remains that the land will reap at one point or another the rewards of all that has been sown both good and bad. People of the British Virgin Islands, do not be witched but be wise!
