Ministers Wilbert and Jacqueline Richardson

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”  - Acts 20:24

Today we want to encourage the righteous to keep focused and draw your strength from the Lord.

The moment you begin to preach, teach and live truth, you become a target to the devil and his full time employees but be not moved.

Do not compromise, stand tall in the Lord and the power of His might.

For some people, as long as you are preaching and saying things that make people feel good and comfortable in their sin all is well, but the minute the Word of God that you deliver cause discomfort and conviction then you become a target of evil physical and spiritual darts. “For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.”  Psalm 11:2

Do not be discouraged and do not be dismayed for God who has begun a good work in you will see it to completion.  The same religious people who killed Jesus is the same religious spirits trying to kill the true prophets and ministers of the gospel today but God is with us and for us and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. “Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.”  Psalm 34:21  “And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.  Psalm 37:32,40

Don’t be afraid of preaching, teaching or proclaiming what thus sayeth the Lord.  People will do and say all manner of evil against us but have no fear for God will take care of all who touch His anointed.  If you are in a position where you are wrestling with whether to please God and do what He is saying or please the board or the members of the public; please God, even if they fire you or take you out of the position you are in.  God will take care of all who trouble the righteous.  God is on our side.  “Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. Psalm 34:21

Many ministers of the gospel today are distressed and have no peace because they know what God is saying to them and they are in disobedience because they prefer to please people rather than please God.  They do not want to lose their position or their social status, so they remain in compromise and misery.  God is calling the righteous in this hour to stand for Him, to cry aloud and spare not.  In this hour people do not need to hear motivational speeches or good sounding words, people need to hear the truth of the Word of God.  People need to know that God is a God of love but He is also a God of wrath.  People need to know the truth of the word and not the sugar coated version.

Our encouragement to the righteous today is to do what God has called you to do.  In spite of the persecution, in spite of the threats, inspite of the slander and the backbiting and gossip.  In spite of those who say you think you are holier than anyone else or think you are better than anyone else because you stand for righteousness, do what you have to do and say what you have to say.  God is with you.  Let them talk, let them mock, let them throw stones and curses for you are God’s anointed and it is a battle that He is sure to fight on your behalf.

Do not compromise or give in because people are pressuring you to bend and be lenient if it does not line up with the word of God.  If God gives you a message, preach it and if God gives you a word, deliver it.  Sin offends those who are sinning, for the righteous have not need to be offended by sin.

When we try to warn people about living in sin, they say we are judging and when you try to warn people about coming judgment that God sends as warning they say you are calling destruction on the land.  Nevertheless, to the righteous we say “Do not be moved by the tactics and distractions of the enemy, no matter who or what he is using.”

Do not be alarmed and moved when one moment people are thanking God for you and the next minute they want to kill you when God uses you to expose them or convict them of their sins.

God has a remnant in the land, who must be bold enough to cry aloud and spare not no matter what.  In Acts 7 we read of how Stephen was stoned for doing nothing more than sharing the gospel.  Yet Stephen said “…Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.”

We encourage the righteous today to pray for those who are persecuting you and saying and doing all manner of evil against you.  Do not stoop to their level and do and say the same evil they are doing and saying.

Be encouraged today fellow righteous brethren, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”  Romans 8:31  “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”  St. Matthew 5:10-12

Let the righteous with a loud voice declare like the Apostle Paul in Acts 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
