I feel in my spirit that someone needs to be encouraged.
Someone needs to be reminded about the awesome power of God.
Someone needs to know that God is a big, great and wonderful God.
Someone needs to know tonight that God doesn’t need them to try and help Him, for He is God all by himself.
You are faced with a particular situation where only God can come through for you.
You cannot fix it, your friends and family, as much as they love you, they cannot help you.
You have exhausted all possible solutions and earthly resources and it is God and only God that can come through for you. You have sat day and night pondering and trying to sort the whole situation out. You have tried many solutions in your own strength and things just seem to get worst. You sometimes say to yourself “It can’t get any worse than this”, but then the next day or week it does.
You have been praying in the midst of negative thoughts and imaginations. Sometimes it’s like “God it’s not that I don’t believe you but how….when…who.” It is like God I need a divine intervention like yesterday. You are struggling with your ability to believe God, to have faith for the miracle you need.
Oh, it looks so dark sometimes. It looks so impossible. The enemy seems to be bombarding your mind with negative thoughts of failure and you find yourself wondering and wondering how. It isn’t that you don’t have faith. It isn’t that you don’t believe God but somehow this situation seems so big compared to everything you went through before. You try hard to remember the many times that God came through for you; but then there is the what ifs at the back of your mind. What if you don’t get the money on time? What if you get evicted?
What if the situation at work doesn’t change? What if you can’t come up with the mortgage? What if that family member never changes? What if the diagnosis from the doctor is true? What if your healing doesn’t manifest? These are real questions of doubt that the enemy brings to many Christians but don’t entertain them. Bind every negative thought in the name of Jesus.
God is a God of the impossible. Know today that man’s impossibilities are God’s opportunities. Sometimes God waits until everything looks totally hopeless in the natural. He waits until the situation is of such that no human effort can solve it. And then….BANG! He shows up. Right on time! In that case, man cannot get the glory, only God can get the glory.
Do not allow your mind to dwell on what you see. What you see is only temporary but the promises of God unto you’re forever sure. God wants to do a great work in your midst and on your behalf. God wants to show you, that He is God all by himself and He needs no help. God wants you to experience a supernatural miracle that will cause your faith in Him to rise and your commitment to Him to be even more cemented.
Do you believe God today? If you know that your situation is of such that all you have left is what the Word of God says, you must believe God. It is a choice. You cannot afford to waiver, you cannot afford to doubt. You simply need to believe God.
Man isn’t the one who made you. Man isn’t the one who gave you life. Your life as a child of God isn’t in the hands of man it is in the hands of God. Your destiny is determined by God. When God is for you, no man can be against you. God knows exactly how to make your enemies your footstool. God knows how to cause those that rise against you to be at peace with you.
For some of you, you just got a negative report from the doctor about yourself or a family member. The doctor is more or less speaking death. You know that only God can turn things around. Only God can change the sentence of death into life. Only God, only God and God alone. Believe God. Believe the report of the Lord. No matter how the tests look, no matter what the xrays or mri are saying, know that God is a healer. He is the great physician and He still heals. God and God alone…
To those of you who feel like giving up because you’re so tired, discouraged and frustrated in battle that you feel like you can no longer fight. The battle is not yours, the battle belongs to the Lord. The victory belongs to you. Stand still this day and extend your faith. Rise up in the name of Jesus, put on your armor and believe that God is who He said He is. God isn’t a wimp. God isn’t man that He should lie. If He said it, He will do just what He said.
Do not give the devil the courtesy of doubting that God is who He says He is. Rebuke and resist the temptation to fear and doubt. Lay aside hopelessness and despair. God has so much in store for you. The devil is a liar. He doesn’t determine your future. You serve a mighty God. Look out at the mountains, look up at the clouds, the sun, the seas, all His handy work.
Arise in the name of Jesus and put on the strength of the Lord. His strength is made perfect in weakness. With God all things are possible. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.
Look at the situation again, but this time look through the eyes of faith and the promises of God. God is able to provide, God is able to deliver, God is able to heal, God is able to bring peace, God is able to protect. God is, God is, God is. He is I’m. He is your I Am. He is ever present, He is ever faithful, He is ever mindful. He is ever loving, ever compassionate. God is, God is.
Yes, the tests must come, yes the trials must come. Out of the tests we get testimonies and out of what seems to be an absolute mess, we get messages. It isn’t the will of God that you go under. It isn’t His will that you fall or you fail. But if you have fallen prey to doubt, unbelief, wavering and fear, God wants to lift you up tonight.
Know tonight that God and only God can come through for you and you know what, if you just have faith and believe him despite what you see, He will come through for you. God and only God can and will help you. Always remember, when you’re down to nothing God is up to something.
