“The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?” — Psalm 118:6
God wants to remind someone today that He is on your side.
God is on your side! God is a great and a mighty God. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is all-powerful and all-knowing. He is our Rock, Refuge, Strength, Shield, and so much more.
Many challenges face us today. Whether you’re a Christian or not, trouble knocks on your door. The advantage of being a Christian is that—because Jesus Christ is our Lord and our Savior—we know for sure that no matter what we face, God is on our side. We have confidence that although at times it may seem like we’re related to Job, God is with us and He will see us through. Even if you feel like you are related to Job remember Job’s latter end. He got double for his trouble. God has not finished writing your story. Despite how it may look right now, there is better days ahead and greater blessing in store for you. You must believe that what God has for you is for you and no devil or demon in hell or on the earth can stop what God has for you. God is on your side. Believe this truth and walk in it.
The Word of God tells us in Psalm 91:7, “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” We are reassured through the Word of God that no matter what comes our way, the divine protective hand of God is our shield in times of trouble.
Too many today, even Christians, are living in fear. Too many are living defeated lives, beneath what God has ordained for them. This happens because of what others do and say, or because of an inability to recognize the power and authority that’s available to every born-again believer when faced with the challenges of life.
The workers of evil can be busy scheming and sabotaging and doing things that they thing will destroy you or bring you down but be it known this day that those who fight against the righteous fight against God himself and He is sure to judge them. They evil things that they are doing to you, the injustice, the slander, the jezebelic and satanic prayers for you to go mad or go under, the lies, things put in your way to block your progress, will all return on their own head multiplied. While they are going down because of their own wickedness and evil deeds, God will be promoting you and causing you to rise before their very eyes. “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.” Job 5:12 This is a season where God is preparing tables for the righteous in the presence of all our enemies.
Look at what the Word states about the righteous (those in right standing with God), “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate” (Psalm 34:17-22). Child of God, God is on your side.
Know this day that once you’re in the divine will of God, once you’re totally submitted to the Lord and are obedient to His Word, He’s on your side. There’s no need to fear man. There’s no need to fear the darts of the enemy. Psalm 124: 1-3 says, “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us.”
As long as you’re on this earth, the weapons against you will always be there, but they will not prosper. The God we serve is a great God. He has never lost a battle and He never will. God has given us power over all the powers of the enemy. There’s no need for us to crawl up in a shell and hide. There’s no need for us to live in defeat and fear. We have the victory in the name of Jesus! Greater is Jesus Christ, who is in us, than the enemy who is in the world. If you’re living in Jesus, God is on your side.
It may look today as if the walls are all caving in around you. It may seem as if your cross is too heavy to bear. Give it all to Jesus. Know this day that the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is resident inside of you. God is on your side.
It’s time for the body of Christ to rise up and realize the power that’s been given to us. It’s time for us to be up and about our Father’s business. This isn’t the hour for us to be walking in defeat; this is the hour of victory. God wants us to rise up and advance in Him. There’s much work to be done for the Lord. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12). God is on our side.
It’s time for the enemy to stop getting so much credit. It’s time for Jesus Christ to be exalted in every situation that concerns us. Sometimes you talk to people and all they can tell you about is what the devil’s doing. What about what God is doing? God woke us up; clothed us in our right minds, and is providing for us. In spite of whatever we’re going through, God is on our side.
Lift up the name of Jesus, exalt the Lord. Give God praise, give God glory. No matter what things look like, no matter what they feel like, have faith in God. When you think you’re about to go under, God will take you over. You are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. God is on your side.
This month of December is a great month for many of the saints who have stood in the midst of and inspite of all through the year. Watch God!!! God will surprise many for the many miracles He will do and the great things He will do in this month of December! Watch God!! I decree and declare to the righteous this day that you will not enter 2012 empty handed for our God will fill us to overflowing with great things, spiritually, physically, and in all area of our lives. Watch God!!!
Today, if you truly want God to be on your side, accept His Son Jesus Christ into your heart and life. The Bible contains many promises for the children of God. God is merciful and causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust, but the just can claim the promises of God by faith. Why not accept Jesus Christ into your heart today? Jesus came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Jesus Christ loves you, and He wants you to truly be able to say, “God is on my side.” Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior today. May the Lord bless you to overflowing abundantly bless, prosper and favor you. Have a glorious weekend and WATCH GOD!!!
