“…and there was a great rain.” - 1 Kings 18:45b

Prepare for the great spiritual rain in your life.

God is about to do a mighty work and I’m excited in my spirit.

It may have been a long time since you’ve really believed God for things to happen in your life.

The clouds have continued to build up, but the rain hasn’t fallen.

Today can be the day of deliverance for those who live holy lives and dare to just believe God.

It’s time to celebrate your victories. Don’t wait until you see them manifested to praise God. We’re people of faith, and we believe in things we cannot see. We must thank and praise God for them even before they appear. That is faith.
If you truly believe that God is able and that He is about to come through for you—if you really take the Word of God the way it is and allow it to become rhema in your life—you will experience the great rain.

God can do anything. Allow yourself to soar and the revelation of the awesome God you serve to lodge deep in your spirit.

We need to take the brakes off, ignore the limits, and stop putting God in a box. I don’t care what your situations look like today. If you have enough faith to believe that God—who made the heavens and the earth—can turn them completely around, He will. It doesn’t matter  how long things have been that way. It doesn’t matter how deep in sin the person is for whom you’re believing God. God is a mighty God and He knows how to make the impossible possible.

Don’t listen to the negative things that people around you are saying. Refuse to doubt and entertain unbelief. You may be the only one standing in faith, but stand anyway. God will honor your faith.

In Matthew 9:27 Jesus encountered two blind men. He first asked them in verse 28, “believe ye that I’m able to do this? and they said unto him, Yea, Lord.” He’s asking you the same question today: “Do you believe that He is able to mend that broken marriage or relationship, heal that sick loved one, change those family members, bring peace on that job situation, save those unsaved loved ones, touch that wayward child, move you to that higher level in Him?” Do you believe? In verse 29 Jesus, touched the eyes of the blind men, saying “According to your faith be it unto you.” That’s what Jesus is saying to you today. According to your faith be it unto you.

One area where many people are being attacked is finances. I’m not talking about those who don’t pay their tithes and offerings. Because those who don’t tithe open the door for the enemy to devour all that they have. I’m talking about those who are faithful tithers and givers and the bills are still pouring in. The car has stopped working, the doctor is taking all the money, the refrigerator has quit, and the children need extra money. I say unto you faithful tithers who the devil has been attacking, “Stand still and see the salvation of God.” God is about to come through for you. Stop limiting God and just begin to thank him for the financial breakthrough that’s coming. You may think it’s going to come from the east, but the amount from the east isn’t enough; God is bringing it from the west.

Get ready for the abundance of rain in your finances. Confess the Word and remind God of what He’s said. Command all the finances that the enemy has taken from you to be returned to you a thousand fold.

People of God, it’s time for us to get radical. Homosexuals are coming out of the closet; Muslims and Hindus are coming out of the closet; the witches and warlocks are coming out of the closet. It’s time for the church of the living God to come out of the closet and show the world that our God is not a wimp. Our God is alive and well, and He takes care of His children.

In 1 Kings 18:42, Elijah went up to eat and drink, and he cast himself down upon the earth. He was believing God for it to rain. He told His servant to go up and look to the sea, and there was nothing. You may have been looking toward heaven and seeing nothing happening in your life, even though you’ve prayed and prayed. But Elijah was persistent and sent the servant up seven times.

The seventh time, he saw a little cloud like a man’s hand. We believe that in the seventh hour of the fast today God is going to do great things in the spirit realm on your behalf. You may have received a small sign that God is coming through for you but prepare for the rain. Elijah didn’t wait until the rain came in the natural to believe that it was coming; he told his servant to tell Ahab to not to let the rain stop him. That is faith.

Elijah believed. And soon the sky was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. So often we stop just before the rain falls because we get weary of waiting on God to come through for us. Press on.

Be encouraged today my brother, my sister. Do not get weary and don’t get tired. Wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Extend your faith and believe God for the abundance of rain that’s about to fall on your life.
