Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You to decree Your Word in agreement regarding the upcoming elections in the British Virgin Islands. Thank you that YOU rule by YOUR might forever. YOUR eyes observe and keep watch over the British Virgin Islands.

Therefore, we decree that the rebellious will NOT exalt themselves in this election. We further decree that you are giving us judges who have divinely directed decisions on their lips. Their mouths will NOT transgress in judgment. You are giving our judges knowledge of YOUR way of judging and the spirit of YOUR righteousness to control all of their actions. (Psalm 66:7; Proverbs 16: 10; Psalm 72:11).

Father, we decree that You have broken the staff and scepter of wicked rulers in this territory. You are greatly increasing Your people, and making us stronger than our oppressors. We are taking captive, NOT by PHYSICAL, but by MORAL might, those whose captives we have been, and ruling over our former oppressors. We pray for all of the men and women who hold positions of authority who are opposed to Your purposes. We decree that their days in office will be few— that You would remove them and raise up and appoint humble and lowly men and women who are after Your own heart, and who will do ALL Your will and carry out YOUR program FULLY —men and women of YOUR OWN CHOOSING—to take the offices and positions of the ungodly. (Isaiah 14:5; Psalm 105.24; Isaiah 14:2b; Psalm 109:8; Acts 1:20b; Daniel 2:2 1; Daniel 4:17; Acts 13:21-22).

Father, we decree that the British Virgin Islands ancient ruins are being rebuilt. We decree that the people of God are renewing ruined cities and raising up foundations of buildings that have laid waste for many generations. We decree that God’s people are called repairers of the breach, and restorers of streets to dwell in. We decree that every purpose, undertaking or movement in this election that is of human or demonic origin is failing, being overthrown and coming to nothing; and every purpose, undertaking and movement that is of GOD will not be able to be stopped, overthrown or destroyed. Father, we decree that those who oppose YOUR purposes in this election will be found fighting against YOU, not man. (Isaiah 58:12; Isaiah 61:4; Acts 5:38-39).

Father, we proclaim to all of Satan’s hordes that KINGSHIP and the KINGDOM is the LORD’S. HE is ruler over this territory. Therefore, as HE has thought and planned concerning this territory, SO SHALL IT COME TO PASS; and as HE has purposed, SO SHALL IT STAND. For what HE has purposed—WHO CAN ANNUL IT? When HIS hand is stretched out, WHO WILL TURN IT BACK? What HE speaks is DONE. What HE commands, STANDS FAST. HE brings the counsel of territory’s to naught; HE make the thoughts and plans of the people to NO EFFECT. HIS counsel stands forever; the thoughts of HIS heart to all generations. Blessed is the territory whose God is the Lord. We declare that JESUS IS LORD over the British Virgin Islands! (Isaiah 14:24, 27; Psalm 33:9-12).

We honor You, Jehovah-Nissi, our Banner of Victory! We decree that through the NAME of JESUS, we are more than conquerors. We dispatch angels to set a hedge of protection round about the candidates that You have chosen, their family and staff members. We disallow the attacks of the enemy to physically cause harm to their bodies, families or properties. We dispatch warring angels to arrest the tactics set against them to cause fear or retreat, for we recognize that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.

Thank You, Father, for releasing revelation knowledge of Your protection and Your ability to fight on their behalf. (Romans 8.37; Job 1: 10; Psalm 91:9-11; II Timothy 1:7; Matthew 18:18; Ephesians 1:17-19). We decree that EVERY TACTIC that would be whispered in the ear against the candidates that You have chosen would be shouted from the housetops, and that those things planned in secret would be brought to light. We decree that NO WEAPON formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be shown to be in the wrong, because You have promised to vindicate the righteous. We dispatch angelic warriors to bring confusion upon those who would pursue Your chosen candidates. We decree that they will be destroyed by their own devices. (Luke 12:2-3; Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 70:2; Psalm 10:2).

Father, we will not make any hasty or premature judgments, because You will both bring to light the secret things that are now hidden in darkness and disclose and expose the secret aims, motives and purposes of the hearts of those who are involved in this election. Therefore, we decree that every illegal and unfair tactic that has been planned against this election will be exposed, and every lie that has been spoken will come to nothing. Every device to tear down Your candidates will work FOR them and NOT AGAINST them, because if YOU are FOR them, who can be AGAINST them. (I Corinthians 4:5; Psalm 63:11; Romans 8:31).

Father, we decree that Your chosen candidates will be delivered out of trouble and the wicked will get into it instead. Your hand will be seen MIGHTILY in delivering them out of any snare that is laid for them through the knowledge and superior discernment that You impart to them Those who devise wickedness will be caught up in their own traps, and they shall be snared by the words of their lips and caught in the speech of their mouths. (Proverbs 11:8-9; Proverbs 6.2).

Father, we decree that You are hiding Your chosen candidates from the secret counsel and conspiracy of the ungodly and from the scheming of evildoers, who whet their tongue like a sword, who aim venomous words like arrows, who suddenly shoot from ambush at the blameless without self-reproach or fear, who encourage themselves in an evil purpose, who talk of laying snares secretly, and say, “Who will discover us?”, who think out acts of injustice and say, “We have accomplished a well-devised thing.” Father, based upon Your promise, we decree that You will shoot an unexpected arrow at the ungodly, and they will suddenly be wounded. They will be made to stumble, their own tongues being against them; all who gaze upon them will shake their heads and flee away, and all men will reverently fear and be in awe, and will declare Your work, for they will wisely consider and acknowledge that it is YOUR doing. (Psalm 64:2-9).
Thank you, Father, for surrounding Your chosen candidates with wise counsel, for there is safety in a multitude of counselors. We call forth counselors who are bold toward the things that are just and true—men and women of high moral character—not compromising the standards that Your Word lays out for them. (Proverbs 11: 14).

Father, we thank You for filling the mouths of Your chosen candidates and their staff members with YOUR words, so that the people of this territory would not be able to resist the intelligence, wisdom and inspiration of the Spirit with which they speak. Set a guard before their mouths and keep watch at the door of their lips. When You speak to them, we thank You that You will open their mouths and they will speak as Your mouthpieces. (Acts 6:10; Psalm 141:3; Ezekiel 3:26-27).

We decree that Your chosen candidates and their staff members are resolving and settling it in their minds not to meditate and prepare beforehand how they are to make their defense and how they are to answer, for You are giving them a mouth and such utterance and wisdom as all of their foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute. We decree that You are granting them the knowledge, wisdom and understanding to spare their words, hold their peace and maintain a cool spirit. They are taking heed and guarding their ways, so that they may not sin with their tongues. They are muzzling their mouths as with a bridle while the wicked are before them. You are keeping their tongues from evil and their lips from speaking deceit. They have purposed that their mouths shall not transgress.

By the Word of YOUR lips they have avoided the ways of the violent and the paths of the destroyer. Their mouths speak excellent and princely things. The opening of their lips is for right things. Their mouths utter truth, and wrong-doing is detestable and loathsome to their lips. ALL of their words are plain and straightforward. (Luke 21:14-15; Proverbs 17:27; Psalm 39. 11; Psalm 34:13; Psalm 17:3-4; Proverbs 8.6-9).

Thank You, Father, that You are opening Your chosen candidates’ and their staff members’ eyes to see that those who are with THEM are more than those who are with the UNGODLY. Because You have removed their reproach and granted them favor, no one is looking on and saying “Where is their God?” You are answering them in the day of trouble. You are sending help from the sanctuary, supporting, refreshing and strengthening them. You are remembering all of their offerings, granting them according to their hearts’ desire, and fulfilling all of their plans. They are shouting in TRIUMPH at Your salvation and VICTORY, and in Your Name they are setting up their banners. You are fulfilling ALL of their petitions. You are saving them. You are answering them from Your holy Heaven with the saving strength of Your right hand. They put NO confidence in the flesh, but they are trusting You in ALL things, and boasting in Your name. The wicked are bowed down and fallen, but THEY are risen and stand upright. You are giving VICTORY and answering them when they call. (II Kings 6:14-17; Joel 2:17; Psalm 20; Philippians 3:3; Colossians 3:17).

Thank You, Father, for magnifying Your chosen candidates in the sight of the citizens of this territory. We decree that it is WELL with them because they deal generously, lend and conduct their affairs with justice. They shall not be moved forever. They shall be in everlasting remembrance. They shall not be afraid of evil tidings. Their heart is firmly fixed, trusting in You. Their hearts are established and steady. They are not afraid while they wait to see their desire upon their adversaries. Their horn shall be exalted in honor. The wicked man will see it and be grieved and angered; he will gnash his teeth and disappear in despair. The desire of the wicked shall perish and come to nothing.

You are distinguishing them above all ungodly leaders because an excellent spirit—Your Holy Spirit—is in them. Although the ungodly may seek to find occasion to bring accusation against them, they will not be able to find any occasion, error or fault in them because they are faithful to You. (Joshua 3:7; Psalm 112:5-10; Daniel 6:3-4). Thank You, Father, that You are delivering Your chosen candidates from the fear of man. They refuse to be afraid of what man, who can kill the body, can do to them, but rather they fear YOU, who has the power to destroy both soul and body. You are girding them with strength for the battle. You are subduing under them and causing to bow down those who rise up against them. You are keeping them from evil. You are keeping their lives. You are keeping their going out and coming in from this time forth and forevermore. Because their ways please You, You are making even their enemies to be at peace with them. (Psalm 56:11; Matthew 10:28; Psalm 18:39; Psalm 12:1, 7-8; Proverbs 16:7).

They do not fear, because You are with them. They do not look around them in terror or dismay, because You are their God. You are strengthening them and hardening them to difficulties. You are helping them, holding them up and retaining them with Your victorious right hand of rightness and justice. ALL those who are enraged and inflamed against them are being put to shame and confounded.

Those who strive against them are as nothing. They shall seek for those who contend with them, and they shall not find them. Those who war against them shall be as nothing at all. Those who stir up strife AGAINST them shall fall away TO them. They are not letting themselves be overcome with evil, but they are overcoming evil with good. Even though they may be hedged in and pressed on every side-troubled and oppressed in every way—they are not cramped or crushed. Although they suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, they are not driven to despair. Although they are persecuted, intimidated, hard-driven and pursued, they are not deserted to stand alone. Although they are struck down and rejected, they are never struck out or destroyed.

You are causing their enemies who rise up against them to be DEFEATED before their face. Their enemies shall come out against them one way, but they shall flee seven ways. (Isaiah 41:10-12; Isaiah 54: 15; Romans 12.21; II Corinthians 4:8-9; Deuteronomy 28:7). Father, we decree that their eyes look right on with fixed purpose, and their gaze is straight before them. They consider well the path of their feet, and ALL of their ways are established and ordered aright. They turn not aside to the right hand or to the left, and they remove their feet from evil.

They are motivated by faith to leave ALL that is behind them. They are unawed and undismayed by the wrath of those who would oppose them, or by adverse circumstances. They never flinch, but hold staunchly to their purpose and endure steadfastly as one gazing on You, the Invisible One. They are stripping off and throwing aside every encumbrance, unnecessary weight, and any sin that may cling to and entangle them, and they are running with patient endurance and steady, active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before them, looking away from ALL that would distract to Your Son, JESUS, the author and finisher of their faith. (Proverbs 4:25-27; Hebrews 11:27; Hebrews 12:1-2).

Father, Your Word says that in a race all the runners compete, but only ONE receives the prize. We decree that Your chosen candidates are running their race so that they may lay hold of the prize and make it theirs. They, like every athlete who goes into training, are conducting themselves temperately, and restricting themselves in all things. They are not running uncertainly—without definite aim, or boxing as one beating the air without an adversary, but they look carefully to how they walk. They live purposefully, worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise, sensible and intelligent men; making the very most of their time-buying up each opportunity—because the days are evil. They are not vague, thoughtless or foolish, but they understand and firmly grasp what Your will is. (I Corinthians 9:24-26).

Father, You are faithful, Who has called them to Yourself, and You are utterly trustworthy. You will also fulfill Your call upon their lives by hollowing and keeping them. You are performing on their behalf and rewarding them. You are bringing to pass Your purposes for them and surely COMPLETING them. Before You formed them in the womb, You knew and approved of them as Your chosen instruments, and before they were born, You separated and set them apart, consecrating them, and You appointed them to their specific calling and destiny in You. You have called them, You have brought them, and You are making their way prosperous. You will do ALL Your pleasure and purpose concerning them. What You have spoken to them, You will bring to pass; what You have purposed for them You will DO! (I Thessalonians 5:24; Psalm 57:2; Jeremiah 1:5; Isaiah 48:15; Isaiah 46:10-11).

Father, EARNESTLY REMEMBER the prayers of their ancestors, and the covenant that You made with them. Cause every one of those prayers to come to pass in them. We call forth into THIS generation the giftings, the purposes and the anointings of their holy ancestors of PAST generations. We ask that ALL of these giftings, purposes and anointings, would be imparted to these men and women to carry out Your eternal purposes for THIS generation. We ask that Your purposes for THIS generation would not die with THIS generation, but that You would grant them the wisdom to know the importance of passing the baton to all of their FUTURE generations, so that their children might fulfill Your ONGOING purposes.

May they be able to say with David, that they have served Your will, purpose and counsel in their OWN generation before they die. (Acts 13:36). In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
