“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” – Ephesians 6:13

God is calling us in the Body of Christ to be fully clothed with His armour and to STAND.  We do not have to ask if we are living in the last days, the signs of the times as outlined in St. Matthew 24 is all around us.  The weapons are being formed from all angles but in the midst of it all God is calling His Body to Stand.  Quitting the Christian walk because of opposition and challenges is not an option.

Brethren, we have to know God for ourselves.  We have to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ for ourselves.  We have to know and believe the promises that God has set out in His Word for ourselves so that when the storms of life hit us we can Stand.  This is not the time to pretend or to play church, perilous times are ahead.  “…that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”  Colossians 4:12b

Be reminded today that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.  In the midst of it all God is calling us to Stand.  In order for us to stand we must have clean hands and a pure heart.  We must walk in humility and in the fear of the Lord.  “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.”  Psalm 24:3-5  Are your hands clean?  Is your heart right with God?

Sometimes it’s not if we are standing but rather how we are standing.  The times we live in demands that as Christians we do the following:
“That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”  1 Corinthians 2:5 – Don’t rely on the wisdom of men over the power of God or the Word of God.  Don’t ever allow people to become your god.

“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”  1 Corinthians 16:13 – You must be determined to stand, not compromising but standing fast in faith.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage”  Galatians 5:1  -  Jesus Christ came to set us free.  Do not go back into the bondage of sin.  Stand.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”  Ephesians 6:11  -  In your own strength, you cannot stand but clothed in God’s armour and with His help you can stand.

“Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.”  Philippians 4:1

The Bible says in St. Luke 21:25-26 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”  Our territory is in for a major shaking.  It is time to pray, fast, seek God and walk with the Lord like never before.  God is calling us to repentance not from the lips only but from the heart; not just individually but as a territory.  “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”  1 Thessalonian 5:3  Lord have mercy on us! Changes are coming…But the righteous have no need to fear, our hope is in the Lord who has promised never to leave nor forsake us as we Stand.

Intercessors and Prayer Warriors are you standing on your watch, or are you losing focus because of challenges and distractions?  Arise fast and pray, war in the Spirit like never before.  It is imperative that we intercede for our territory, our leaders, and our people and ask God for divine mercy and intervention.  “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.”  Habakkuk 2:1  Warn the wicked.  Be bold and call sin, sin!

Saints of God, we must stand!  We must Stand.  We must Stand in the strength of the Lord.  No matter what trials, no matter what principalities, no matter what challenges, not matter what weapons, let us be even more determined than before to Stand in the strength of the Lord.

Our God is great and mighty and He knows how to bless us.  He knows how to favour us.  He knows how to take care of all our cares and He knows how to strengthen our feeble knees.  The God that delivered Daniel, is our God.  The God that kept and promoted Joseph is our God.  The God that healed and brought double fold restoration to Job is our God.  The God that delivered and transformed Saul into Apostle Paul is our God.  The God of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, Elisha is our God.  He is the same God.

Let us Stand!  Let us Stand!  Let us Stand!  For our God is more than able to do exceeding abundantly above all we can ever ask or think.  Having done all brethren, let us Stand!
