“… Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.” 1 Kings 18:41
Our land has been dry and some of the trees in the mountain have even changed their colour because of the lack of rain.
There is no need to worry or to fear because the rain is coming. For many today, in their lives it seems as if things are just drying up. Some things have actually died and some situations are just barren, not bringing forth any fruit. Be encouraged today.
God who is faithful will send the rain in the natural and in the spiritual and it will change things.
Dry and dead bones will come to life. Situations that you have been praying and praying for will sudden change. God will cause the heavens to open over your head and His blessings will overtake you suddenly.
Do not look at all that seems to be dry, dead and barren but look to God who is more than able to bring forth life to things that seem dead. God is not just faithful but He is able. You may have been waiting for a long times for God to come through for you but be not weary in waiting on God. God has not forgotten you. God has not turned His back on you. Get ready to receive from the hands of God for the rain is coming!
Elijah was at the top of Mount Carmel. God had just sent down His fire and devoured demonstrated His mighty power. “Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.” 1 Kings 18:38 Elijah saw the rain in the realm of the spirit but in the natural it seemed as if the rain was not going to fall. He sent the servant seven times to look out at the sea.
The seventh time, the servant said that he saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. That was the sign but the great rain did follow. Faith is believing before you see. “And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.” 1 Kings 18:45
We pray today that God will give you a sign in the midst of the challenges and circumstances. A sign that will remind you that He is still God and that there is nothing too hard for Him to do. We pray that God will cause His rain of blessings to fall on you and your family and you will receive divine release and divine increase.
We pray that God will open the windows of heaven and cause the rain to fall on our dry and thirsty land so that our crops will yield good fruit, our cisterns will be full to overflowing and that which is parched and dying will spring forth to life.
Allow Jesus Christ to reign in your life. Allow Him to be King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Believe Him, trust Him and have faith in Him no matter what. God is about to pour out His rain in your life and in the land! “And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26 Have faith in God and prepare for the showers of blessing!
