Archie will live to regret calling me a liar – O’Neal

Chairman of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) and incumbent 9th District candidate Ralph T. O’Neal says Archibald Christian – the “young boy” from the NDP – would “live the rest of his mortal life to regret” ever having called him a liar.
Speaking in the 4th District on Monday O’Neal said, “I am a man of peace. I don’t trouble people,” but called on the wrath of God to deal with Christian.
The VIP Chairman cited a childhood canto that chides a man for filching from another his good name, with the intention to enrich himself.
“I heard that young boy, that young lad, Archibald Christian say at one of the meetings that Ralph O’Neal is a liar. But, every day he lives his mortal life, he will regret those words. He will regret those words,” O’Neal said with clear emotion in his voice.
The veteran politician noted, it was unethical to “go about telling people all sorts of things to sound good,” and cautioned that Christian tread carefully along those lines.
“You call a man a liar. I wouldn’t bother asking him to prove it. I leave him to the almighty God, the father of this universe and he will deal with him. And when he deals with him I wont have to ask what is wrong because I know God will take care,” he said.
Some time ago, National Democratic Party (NDP) Territorial At-large candidate Archibald Christian had called out the Premier on false claims to the people of Anegada regarding the procurement of land already belonging to Little Dix and others.
Christian said the O’Neal was “fooling” the people and suggested that he came clean and told the truth about the real situation regarding the land.

Archie ayo try don’t upset that man cause he look like he ready to croak right there in that chair. I mean listen I respect Ralph I grew up in the BVI all my life his name and Lavity rang clear. But there comes a time when you have to acknowledge when to hang things up. I saw his speech and it did not make me glow with respect but I felt really sad, and it was rather pitiful I don’t think this is how this man should be remembered and go out. Those yes men that are pushing this man to exert his energy in his last days for what ever alterior motives have already secured their places in hell, and I wish them luck in the after life. To Ralph I think you did your best and it is not disrespectful for me to tell you to relax, I rather think you should look at it as a compliment for all you have accomplished and the legacy you have left behind. Don’t be remembered as one of those shot boxers who never knew when to hang it up….

Ralph is disrepecting the almighty by saying God will allow harm to another for speaking his mind. We all need to speak out and not have these clowns feeling like they are gods and that we fear them. We are the ones who put them in and we need to retain our power as a voice as a people to ensure that they come through with what they promised. None of these parties except for Mark Vanterpool has spoken on issues and a way forward. NDP, VIP, PPA, POP SPEAK FACTS! DEAL WITH COMMUNITY AND TERRITORIAL ISSUES. Archie did not say Ralph was a “liar” he said he wants the claims about Anegada to be proved. Ralph says he does not want Archie to prove the facts! It sounds like he is admitting that Archie can prove Ralph is a lier.
And by the way Ralph, Archie is not a “young boy.” You are a very very old and very ill man. Archie is a very grown up adult!

To the person asking for Archie to provide proof, HE ALREADY DID!!! He laid all the information on the line and the public can check for themselves!! All the stuff Ralph claimed to have done would’ve costed MILLIONS and nowhere in the records show that he did what he said. Well this politics thing is heating up. I urge the Premier that instead of simply say that the lord will dealwith Christian, proviide the evidence to proove Christian wrong. on the other hand, I urge Christian to provide evidence to show that Ralph is not telling the electorates the truth.
