ARMED WITH AN OFFENSIVE WEAPON
On April 17 at 1:35pm, Police arrested and charged James Smith Jr. of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for the offence of Armed with an Offensive Weapon. His arrest is as a result of a report made of an assault.
AFFRAY
On April 17 at 10:00am, Police arrested and charged Khiry Dublin, 19 years of Horse Path; Kempes Bailey, 20 years, of The Valley Virgin Gorda; Leando Creque, 24 years of North Sound, Virgin Gorda and Jemile Horton 29 years, of North Sound for the offence of Affray. Their arrests are as a result of a fight which took place on Virgin Gorda. Leando Creque and Jemile Horton were further charged for Disorderly Conduct. Creque and Horton were granted bail in the sum of $5,000.00 each to appear at the Virgin Gorda Magistrate’s Court on April 18 at 1:at 10:00am.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
On April 17 at 11:5opm, Police arrested and charged David Turnbull of Horsepath for the offence of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. His arrest is as a result of a report made on April 17, 2011.
BURGLARY
On April 18 at 9:40am, Police arrested and charged a 16-year-old male of Fat Hogs Bay for Burglary. His arrest is as a result of a report made on November 1, 2010.
THEFT
On April 18 at 4:35pm, Police arrested and charged 18-year-old Jakeil Harrigan of George Hallows Harrigan Estate with one count of theft and one count Acquisition, Possession or use of Proceeds of Criminal Conduct. His arrest is as a result of a report made on January 21, 2011, in reference to the robbery at Money Gram.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
On April 20 at 10:42am, Police arrested and charged Devon Bedford of Brandywine Bay for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF EXPLOSIVES
On April 20 at 7:25pm, Police arrested and charged 21-year-old Jamal Bedford of Brandywine Bay for the offence of Unlawful Possession of Explosives. His arrest is as a result of a search warrant executed by the police on April 20, 2011.
