We don’t want a tour we want water. The people in West End are suffering. The water has been off for the last 9 days. Not off at night and on during the day…just OFF..all the time. For a country that brags about being so prosperous why are we subjected to living under third world conditions. The Baugher’s Bay plant might solve the problem in Road Town but what about the rest of the island? This situation in West End has been ongoing for years and there has been little effort to find a viable solution any more than patching pipes and changing parts after the fact when they break. We have had enough, and W&S has the gall to send out disconnection notices. There’s nothing to disconnect but the air in the pipes!!!!
This is not what people want. I do not want to see the plant. Can we please have water in Road Town when the cruise ships are in port?????
After that, let’s get a tour of the individual houses and apartments to show us step by step how they have to catch, boil, store etc. water because although we got a new plant we just spend over 3Mil on, we have a set of people who don’t know what they’re doing, an arrogant Minister bragging about nothing, while people suffer. What use is a tour, seeing new equipment but you move from infront the TV, check the kitchen and the pipe dry like construction man knuckles!! Fraser, BOO, You’re FIRED!!!
@Real Talk, You really have a problem with Mr. Fraser, don’t you? You keep eating up your self like this, you going to explode inside. So what the hell you ask him for that he couldnt give you? Seriously, you are on every news site bad talking the man like a woman scorned, everyone can see that this is something personal, and I think we honest bloggers are sick of people like you personalizing it.
I happen to have had dealings with the Minister, and I found him easy to deal with,so why dont you get over your anger and meet with him. Believe me, he wont know that you are the one here spewing this hatred.
@WoW!, I see now you move to the left good! all eyes are on you now!
@Real Talk, I’m sure when the Minister give his Press Conference on the Anniversary of Ocean Conversion giving PS Julian Willock the keys to the Plant, and he was asked the cost to re-build the Plant he said around $2 million. Where the he’ll did you get $3 million?
@Real Talk, To WOW, the whole whole country got issues with Mr. frazer and he going to hear our cries at the poles.
Minister, the renovated plant is producing 1 million gallons of water but the old plant used to produce 1.4 million gallons of potable water. Do the maths… Mr Minister!!!
@Mr. Fraser, 1.4 million says who? Between Water ans Sewage Department who has no way of telling how much water they receive, and Ocean Conversion who was ripping off the Government, tell me how you know they were producing 1.4 million gallons.
Not to mention when the Government got the Plant, according to reports I’v seen only like 5 of the 10 wells were operational.
@Truth or Fiction,
Fact!!!! Do your homework!!!
Why is the minister giving us a tour of the renovated thing in Baughers bay? The minister should be telling us when we would water.
@John R., because he did a good job
@vip loyalist, I am not impressed with the Minister’s works.
@vip loyalist, To VIP Loyalist do you have water all the time in your home.
