Bregado Flax wins in Police Week’s Basketball Championship

Bregado Flax team receiving championship trophy
Students of the Bregado Flax Educational Complex walked away with the championship trophy in the Youth Basketball Tournament on Thursday evening, February 28 at the Sports Complex.
The winner team held a ten-point lead over the Elmore Stoutt High School ending with score of 59 to 49.
The MVP for ESHS was Romain Minott with 17 points, 9 rebounds, two blocks and 3 assists.
The MVP for BFEC was Aldric Thomas with 19 points, three rebounds and 2 steals. He made five 3 pointers.
Acting Deputy Commissioner Roy Stoutt was on hand at the end of the game to present the trophy to the BFEC player Kimron Telemaque.

Big up to Wes for all the hard work he does with the young ball players in VG…VG has alot of talented youngster. It’s time we get an indoor facility because VG is on the rise.
