BVI contractors invited to procurement workshop on Dec. 5

The Ministry of Communications and Works is inviting contractors to a procurement workshop on Wednesday, December 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.
The workshop was designed to put contractors in a better position to compete for contracts under the Government of the Virgin Islands and Caribbean Development Bank’s (CDB) Loan Rehabilitation Project.
The workshop will cover topics such as local and CDB procurement procedures, vulnerability in construction and preparing an effective tender document.
All interested contractors can contact the Ministry at 468-0629 to register. Registration deadline is Monday, December 3rd. Contractors are asked to come out and increase their marketability by taking full advantage of this training opportunity.
The workshop is free and lunch and refreshments will be provided at no additional cost.
