The BVI Hoop It Up Foundation is conducting its first annual Christmas Hoops Basketball Camp at the Multi-purpose complex on Tortola, and The Jeffery Canes basketball Court on Virgin Gorda from Dec19th- Dec 23rd. The camp will consist of basketball training and games for kids ages 5-11 and young men ages 12 and up.
On Virgin Gorda the camp will start from 9:30am – 12pm for ages 5-11 Mon – Thurs, and ages 12 and up will start at 11:30am – 2pm on Tortola Mon – Thurs.
On Tortola the camp will start for ages 5-11 from 9:00am – 11:30m am from Mon – Thurs, and ages 12 and up will start from 11:30am – 2pm from Mon – Thurs.
On Friday Dec 23rd there will be a closing fun day with games, food and drinks, where Virgin Gorda campers, and Tortola campers will come together at the Multi-purpose complex to play games, win lots of prizes and receive their certificates.
The foundation has also invited guest Coach Mike Nalls from Delaware USA to help facilitate the camp with local coaches such as Steve Parillon, Kennedy Bass, Rene Phipps, Kendoi Thomas, Eustace Freeman, and visiting hoop it up baller from college Killven Samuel.
There will be a registration drive on Friday Dec 9th at the multi-purpose complex from 10am – 12pm and at Dixies Virgin Gorda from 1pm – 3pm. Registration fee for the camp is $20 includes camp tee. Don’t let your kids miss out on this Christmas basketball experience.
