As an initiative to encourage our youths to become more environmentally conscious, the BVI Tourist Board is holding a Trash to Treasure Competition, that will be geared toward Primary and Secondary School students.

This competition requires students to take items that would usually be discarded as trash and change  them into treasurable items that can be used within households or as souvenirs. This project encourages students to be creative, as well as to play an active role in cleaning the BVI. In so doing children help to boost our tourism product.
