Every day Obama’s Disciples & Drones kill innocent Persons and no one seems to care but the moment he voices support for Same Sex Marriage everyone ‘fits’… Even a majority of Blacks in the US and West Indies seem to oppose this decision although most have no clue why they are for or against such Marriage except that Somebodies say Religion told them what to say & do.
I couldn’t care less whether Man marries Man or Woman marries Woman because all Persons are born with Individual Rights to do whatever they wish with their own lives… This does not change fact that according to the God of Nature & Laws of Balance, proof of Living is ability to Reproduce so if Same Sex Couples fail this test then they lean towards being Non-living Objects.
Let’s remember that this process called Marriage varies in different Cultures and is in effect a legal contract or social union between Persons for Emotional, Sexual, Reproductive, Financial and Religious purposes…Sadly, our short memories disconnect us from History where Slaves were not permitted to marry and their Children were hung for marrying outside their own Race.
Our dependence on Trickle down from others allows them to evolve & progress while we remain shackled to outhouses of stupidity as victims of their Slavery Religions and Jim Crow Laws… Discrimination is discrimination and to pretend otherwise simply turns us from ‘Victimized’ to ‘Victimizers’ready to deny others ‘Equal Rights’ in their private & personal desire to be married.

If Descendants of Slaves who make Marriage an Issue are not suffering from short Memory and Morning Devotion Syndrome they would know that Hindus, Muslims, Mormons and even David & Solomon of the Bible had multiple Wives & Concubines… The apparent game plan of these Religious Nuts and Bible Punchers is to have us join them in selective amnesia… Brainwashed?
It was in 1926 that a Religious Scheme known as ‘Morning or Daily Devotion’ was started with overt intent to convert Households throughout America & across the World… Luckily, Persons became Educated and the effect declined except in Poor & Black Communities and here in the Virgin Islands where Radio is still used to indoctrinate Children from the beginning of their Day.
In this way our Children become programmed to ignore Reality while believing in Fairy Tales & supporting Thieves … These ‘captured’ Children become confused, illusion & mentally slowed thereby diminishing positive social productivity… Major Nations that once swore they were in-front now find themselves far behind and must struggle to eradicate Religions from their Schools.
Some mis-Leaders will find this exceptionally hard to do as they continue calling on Imaginaries to combat Imaginary or essentially calling on causes of Problems to solve effects of Problems… This will never work for what we need Preachers to do is replace their Webs of Lies & obsession with Same Sex Marriage with the Real Truths & Provable Facts that our Children so badly need.
They may find it difficult to acknowledge Religion as the most Dangerous System in the World but it would be right & proper for Leaders to finally tell Congregations that this World is Round instead of Flat and there are no hidden Heavens in the Sky… This may save them embarrassment because Pandora’s Box is already open – Internet is real & sooner or later Truth shall be revealed.

I dont know if you all noticed it but there is nothing that we can do about it now. Its all over in the youths especially at school, and even to the tender age of 10. The damage already done spread like wild fire all Obama did was to help slow it down and to put a handle on it. Wake up people we done lost the battle and the fight its WAAAAAAYYYYY out there already.

This week, however, President Obama changed his mind and decided to endorse homosexual “marriage.” He then defended his flip-flop by invoking the same Jesus—and the very same inspired text—that he once used to defend the traditional marriage union. He also credited staff members, neighbors, friends and family members—even his two daughters—for influencing his “evolving” position over the years. But in the end, what mattered most was the Golden Rule—“treat others the way you would want to be treated,” the president said, paraphrasing Luke 6:31.
Of course, Mr. Obama’s “evolving” position on same-sex “marriage” is really about political expediency—certainly not the inspired teachings of Jesus. But it still comes as quite a shock when Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible are dragged through the mud in order to defend behavior that God emphatically condemns.
Last year, in Britain, Prime Minister David Cameron upset many traditional Christians when he announced plans to legalize homosexual “marriage” before the next election. Last month, to defend his controversial plan and to bridge the gap between his government and the Christian community, Mr. Cameron once again turned to—you guessed it—Jesus Christ.
“The New Testament tells us so much about the character of Jesus; a man of incomparable compassion, generosity, grace, humility and love,” Mr. Cameron said. He then referred to the same passage in Luke that President Obama paraphrased on Wednesday.
Never mind what it says in Genesis 19, Leviticus 20:13, Luke 17:28-30, Romans 1:26-27, 2 Peter 2:6 or Jude 7. Those are now obsolete verses, often cited by homophobes and bigots, we’re told. Jesus, don’t you know, would have wanted homosexuals to get married—so say the “enlightened.”
The Church of England, meanwhile, was quick to criticize the prime minister’s same-sex “marriage” crusade. Marriage is between one man and one woman, the church said in response to the government’s attempt to redefine the union. In the very same statement, however, the Church of England endorsed homosexuality and same-sex unions—but it drew a very distinct line between that and homosexual “marriage.”
What a pathetic and weak defense of an institution ordained by Almighty God! The supposed moral authority in Britain summarized its official position on homosexuality and marriage and didn’t even include one biblical passage or scriptural reference. Not even one verse!
And we wonder why our leaders are so quick to disparage the Bible and the reputation of Jesus Christ to disingenuously defend their lawless agendas. Today’s “enlightened” clergy is far too busy figuring out how much of the Bible can be categorized as myth or hyperbole to ever be bothered with the task of actually preaching the plain truth of God’s inspired Word!
What an ominous sign of the times in which we are living.
“I charge thee therefore before God,” the Apostle Paul wrote to his young assistant, his faithful minister—the evangelist Timothy. “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:1-2).
God has charged His true ministers with the sobering and momentous responsibility of preaching the truth of the Bible. It doesn’t say preach what men want to hear or to modify doctrinal positions as societal behavior evolves over time.
“I am the Lord, I change not,” God thunders in Malachi 3:6. And His ministers must uphold and defend the sanctity and permanency of His revealed truth. Be instant with God’s truth, Paul said. That means we must stand up and fight for the truth of God!
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4). That is the time we are living in right now. Most people today have turned away from what the Bible actually says and have accepted lies in place of truth.
Indeed some of us have, which is why you must put aside what men say about the Bible and investigate the source for yourself. It doesn’t need any “private interpretation,” as the Apostle Peter wrote. God’s Word interprets itself for those who are humble and honest—and who are faithfully willing to dig in and study. The Bible says what it means—and with authority! And it means exactly what it says. Just take it as the timeless masterpiece that it is and it will begin to make sense.

Lions are also homosexual, males often bond with their brothers to lead the pride and engage in sex together to strengthen the bonds.
It is also common between dolphins and killer wales. The pairing of females and males is fleeting while pairs of homosexual males often last a lifetime.
Animals that live a completely homosexual life can also be found. This occurs especially among birds that will pair with one partner for life, which is the case with geese and ducks. Four to five percent of the couples are homosexual. Single females will lay eggs in a homosexual pair’s nest. It has been observced that the homosexual couple are often better at raising the young than heterosexual couples.
Homosexuality is found in everything from mammals to worms!

1500 out of millions of animals. The truth is its a small minority. Even animals are capable of mental disease. Every now and then a cat and a dog “play” together but its not normal. If everyone turned to homosexuality the world would end that’s the proof that it’s BAD. Life is all about evolution. From the stars to the galaxies. Plants an animals. Anyone who believes that only “straight” people should have sex or should marry, is simply BIGOTED, Hypocritical and Biblically selective. Gay people should have equal rights. President Obama has shown political guts and humanitarian foresight. Have we forgotten that Blacks were once (and still are) discriminated against–including Obama himself!

A “Sodomite” in the Bible is simply a person who lives in Sodom, which included Lot and his family. The term “sodomite” in the King James Version of Deuteronomy 23:17 and I Kings 14:24 is an incorrect translation of the Hebrew word for “temple prostitute.” (See the recent book by Mark D. Jordan: The Invention of Sodomy in Christian Theology. University of Chicago Press, 1997.)
The average person assumes that the Bible clearly condemns male to male sexual intercourse as “sodomy” and that the city of Sodom was destroyed because of homosexuality, which is seen as the worst of all sins in the Bible. These assumptions are based on no evidence at all in the Bible.
No Jewish scholars before the first Christian century taught that the sin of Sodom was sexual. None of the biblical references to Sodom mention sexual sins but view Sodom as an example of injustice, lack of hospitality to strangers, idolatry and as a symbol for desolation and destruction. See Deuteronomy 29:22-28; 32:32; Ezekiel 16:49-50; Jeremiah 49:18; 50:41; Isaiah 13:19-22 and Matthew 10:14-15. The word “know” in Genesis 19:5 is Hebrew YADA. It is used 943 times in the Old Testament to “know” God, good and evil, the truth, the law, people, places, things, etc. It is a very flexible word, as are many Hebrew words. In Genesis 19:5, the word was used to express the request of the people of Sodom that Lot should bring out the strangers in his house so that they could know who they were. Sodom was a tiny fortress in the barren wasteland south of the Dead Sea. The only strangers that the people of Sodom ever saw were enemy tribes who wanted to destroy and take over their valuable fortress and the trade routes that it protected. Lot himself was an alien in their midst.
Lot’s strange response to the request was to offer his young daughters to the men, an offer that seems to me to be far more reprehensible than any problem of sexual orientation. If the men were homosexual, why did Lot offer to give them his daughters? These hostile and violent people were heterosexual, and homosexual orientation had nothing to do with the incident.
To twist the story to say what it does not say is to miss what it does say. The story does not deal with sexual orientation or with homosexuality and has no bearing at all on the issue of God’s acceptance or rejection of Gays and Lesbians. The story of Sodom clearly teaches that evil and violent people who attack aliens and strangers whom they do not know or understand receive God’s quick and terrible punishment.
The purpose of the story is to show that misunderstood, strange, or feared minorities in any community are in danger from violence by the majority when that majority is ignorant, ungodly, selfish and afraid. The real message of Sodom is backwards from the claims of homophobic preachers and teachers. The Gay and Lesbian minority in our society today is more like the guests in Lot’s house who were protected behind closed doors (“in the closet”) than like the frightened mindless mob that wanted to expose, humiliate and destroy people that they did not “know” and control.

someone asked me if Jesus was alive where would he be in the debate. I simply ask them what did he do when he met people gambling in the “Lord’s house” church. That is my answer to this story. Ask the so called christians about the history of the printed Bible. Most have no knowledge of when the original scrolls were discovered, who decided to put together the scriptures to form the bible, who decided what was deemed worthy to be included or nothing about the people that chose to put the book together. They think it was written by God and assembled together by him and left to be discovered by man. Before you follow any religion or book at least try to get info on the how, where and when. Many follow christianity because their parents were christians and told them if they didnt follow God’s word they would go to hell and if they did they would go to heaven. Not many have taken the time to find out more about the origins of the Bible. They know about Adam and Eve, Peter and Paul but do they know about the ancient history of christianity and the Bible? nope

The different between those authors and the bible is that with the authors is there’s a clear line between fiction and non-fiction and most books do come with a small history of the author at the beginning of the book. With the bible, we know little about who wrote it and how it (the bible) came to be yet still we take it all as fact and use to it dictate the lives of ourselves and other people around us.
To “so” you cannot compare viewing a movie for leisure to following the words of the Bible and living life based on its views. We all know most movies are fantasies and are for leisure purposes only.

There are many men in the church, government, police etc all denouncing this but then living a “DL” lifestyle, a lot of these are married as well. By any other name it’s still the same, marriage or otherwise. Why should the name be changed to appease persons. No one is telling persons to accept anything, the principle is saying a right is a right irrespective of who is to enjoy it. Rights are not exclusive to a group.
When you say all religions speak about same sex marriage, what do you mean? Do you mean all major religions or all religions? I think you are missing the fundamental point of the argument, rights intersect. One person’s right should not start where another person’s ends, they both should co-exist. Not because somebody is uncomfortable with somebody else’s right means that right should be denied. Just realize that is the same belief that has led to ethnic cleansing and genocide.

- The “Bible” we allreading ain’t complete or near divine as you’ve been made to believe. Is been edited and crafted by certain men (Council of Nicea for example) in order to “keep you in line” with what they want you to think. Which isn’t exactly bad since it brings about uniformity, but not necessarily a good one.
- If marriage is between a man and a woman then gays should be allowed for enter into something that is amalgamated to represent it. Civil union , maybe? I dunno. Don’t really follow Law stuff.
- if we going to start denying gays simple rights of free will such as this, we might as well start the witchhunts and “bun dem out!” fully, eh? Oh wait. That is against the law. The law which protects EVERYMAN from unfair persecution. Why is the government half half on this?

Well! Well! The Lord in his Word said that when we see these things we must “Look up” for our redemption draweth nigh! I can come back with plenty of biblical passages to the contrary. You have every right to interpret the bible as you wish but you should also take heed of every other written word and religious teaching that exists in every other religious sect worldwide. Evolution doesn’t happen over night!!! But yes, there are some animals evolving in the present day. Elephants for one. Elephants were the targets of poachers for their ivory tusks. They were being killed in great numbers. The species has taken things into their own hands. To make themselves less appealing less are being born with tusks. It’s natural selection in action: either lady elephants are deliberately choosing tuskless mates, or the only boy elephants surviving into breeding time are the ones born without tusks. Either way, that tusklessness is getting passed on.
Some fish are evolving to withstand poluted waters. Even the lionfish have evolved to like our Caribbean waters!!!
There also is the evolution of bacteria around us everyday.
No I do not beleive in Adam and Eve and that the world is merely a few thousand years old. Why? Because there is EVIDENCE all around us of species exsisting long before the bible. We were here first! And skeletal remains prove that we were not physically the same then as we are now. We evolved. This doesn’t mean that I don’t beleive in God. To the contrary. I beleive God created the universe. But he didn’t do it in the way of the story of Adam and Eve.
Alred, very profound. We become so stupid sometimes, we don’t know what we are arguing for or against. But instead, we predicate our views on a narrow perspective usually driven out of fear and hatred. The enjoyment of individual rights does not threaten the rights of everybody else, but instead advances the premise that we were all born free to make choices short of victimizing others.
Our individual purpose and our societal advancement can never be realized when we continue as a rule to curtail the rights of others. Invoking the bible as many often do on this issue is no different than what was done years ago to justify slavery, the subjagation of women and continued male dominance. Rights are not for a select few. They were a divine gift for all. For societies to grow evolution is an imperative not only of its physical infrastructure but also of its mental foundations. It is time for us to remove the scaffolding that has propped up our position but at the same time has retarded our progress.
We don’t have to respect choices that people make but respect their rights to make those choices. This ideology advances humanity and the divine purpose we were all bestowed.

I don’t care one bit who marries whom. It’s none of my business what goes on behind closed doors and I am not about to tell anyone else how to live their own lives.
The heart wants what the heart wants and as long as people stay out of my face and leave me alone, I could care less if a man marries another man or a woman marries another woman.
What I have a problem with is people announcing to the world that they are gay or straight or people prancing around (being overtly sexual) in public places.
Keep your sexuality to yourself please and when in public, kindly remember that nobody wants to see any heavy petting or kissing in public – regardless of whether you are gay or straight!
Gays aren’t hurting anyone by committing to a relationship and getting married. It is a question of human rights and their rights as a couple who share living expenses, etc.
Being married allows gay people to live like real live human beings – entitled to the same protection under the law as straight married people. What’s the big deal anyway? They are still going to be gay, married or not! Just because it isn’t something you or I might choose, it doesn’t mean we have the right to tell anyone else what to do.
By the way, to those who purport that it is wrong because the Bible says so, ask yourself this; when was the bible written and by whom? Who did the translations? Then ask yourself who rewrote the newest version and when?
Now go to your best friend and tell them a story verbally. Tell them it is very important that they remember all the details correctly. Write it down for yourself only. Then wait several decades and ask your friend to tell you the story back. Then compare your friend’s retelling of your story to your original notes. A LOT of truths and facts are lost in translation and over long periods of time!
My God is a forgiving and understanding God. He made all of us and loves all of us just the way we are! The ten commandments are what I live by. There is nothing in the ten commandments referring to same sex relationships.

The King James version of the Bible wasn’t written until just 400 years ago. It was completed in 1611. How much was lost or misinterpreted in the translation from the original scriptures that were written in a language that no longer existed?
How many more times will the Bible be rewritten and how much more of it’s content and meanings change over time. Think about it. We have our own language. Yes, we speak English, but we also have colloquialisms that 200 years from now may not be understood by anyone who picks up a book. For instance, If I am smiling at you and I say, “Man that’s bad!”, what do I really mean? Now if I am frowning and yell at you, “Man that’s bad!”, what do I mean?
The Bible is a bunch of stories written by dozens of people (both before and after Christ) and rewritten by hundreds of so called scholars.
Nobody has messed (much) with the ten commandments though! They remain clear!

So many people just “go along” with what they’ve been told or taught is “right” in many aspects of life- including politics and marriage without doing any research to see if what they’re told is accurate. So when it comes to same sex relationships, it goes against what is written for us to be fruitul and multiply so yes, it is as if they’re non-living. I can co-exist in a community with people that live their life this way nd it wouldn’t affect me nor wouldI treat them any differently… I mean, come on- we all know someone we grew up with or saw around that is suspect.
