Alred C. Frett

Those asking, ‘Why I speak against Christianity and not other Religions?’ should understand I am neither attacking nor praising one Religion or another – All are equally foolish – My great concern is Bad Legacies of our Ancestors which still continue to damage Today’s Children… Slaves knew no Hinduism, Islam or Rastafarianism while Christianity was used to break them.

Even as I support Churches as Poor Man’s Rotary Clubs we find the majority of the Wicked calling themselves Christians who walk the footsteps of Christ… They clearly lie or suffer from selective amnesia since they never do the things he did & he would never do the things they do… Greed shackles them to Dollars as they Pay to Pray, & Play – From Bingo to Lotto to Bowling…

While none of these are Christ-like who am I to reprimand them for exercising their folly? Adults who chose to become followers of any Religions do so by personal choice and it is left to them whether the indoctrination of Toddlers into Holy Communion before they can read or write or Dreadlocks on Infants before they are Potty-trained is anymore than Religious Child-abuse.

Facts reveal Religion as a past & present major source of Social Violence & Child Abuse but you have been so annoyed with me for telling Truth that you are quick to put me down and picked up Liars & Gangsters… While many encourage me to change & become more like others I envy neither Man nor Woman… They may seek to be marketable but I chose to remain not for sale.

Those in high places may use Rostrums & Pulpits to spew hate & venom behind my Back out of fear that facing me in your presence would expose them for the Non-Christians they are… My naked Truth may win no Friends but your Children will be less foolish once they are touched by the things I say… One wonders if Christ was Communist for loving the Poor more than Money.

As we watch the US controlled Congress  focus on the victimization of the Poor & Middle Class we see them use Legal and Political Systems to target President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder… They were so convinced the Supreme Court and Congress were stacked in their favour that ‘Tea Partiers’ were already celebrating and planning their next move of destruction.

However, Wickedness is sometimes so obvious that Justice cries out… Their Champagne turned to stale Beer when the Supreme Court failed to condone the Hypocrisy of their Charges against Obama-Care and the Justice Department refused to prosecute Holder for contempt of Congress…
Thanks to Chief Justice John Roberts, the Poor in America narrowly avoided the Claws of Death.

His action gives hope to the Hopeless that not all Officers of the Courts have become corrupted.

Although Republicans regarded him as their reliable conservative Puppet on such social issues as ending School integration, opposing abortions and allowing limitless corporate spending in campaigns, on Thursday, June 28, 2012 he shocked them by voting to uphold Obama- Care.

Conservatives have now taken to calling him a Traitor and Drug-using Epileptic rather than see the Crack made in the Supreme Court was because he too is aware the Court was ceasing to deliver Fairness & Justice and had become an extended Political Arm of the Republican Party… He saw they were fast losing credibility and as Chief Justice he was the one with most to lose.

In trying to rescue his own Legacy Judge Roberts showed his Colleagues that instead of rank partisanship they should provide needed defense against the excesses of Politicians… As we mark 48 years since President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act, Justice Roberts’ action contrasted with that of Justice Clarence Thomas who remains an embarrassment to his Heritage.

Maybe Roberts realized Poor Victims of the Systems were being stretched beyond breaking point and voting to kill this Law would not just kill his own Legacy but result in Protests & Marches across America that would dwarf the Middle East’s Arab Spring Uprising…He understood that “It is not the Court’s job to protect the People from the consequences of their Political Choices.”

All in all Judge Roberts verified what I have told you for decades – Officers of the Court know the System is broken and in need of repairs… The Question is whether other Judges, Magistrates & Registrars will appreciate the overt & covert rationale behind Justice Roberts’ Opinion and make their own choice of being immortalized in History as ‘justice’ Negatives or Positives.

Another great piece Alred- you are a great satirist- there are lessons to all who read between the lines- notwithstanding their religious beliefs-

To call Alred’s comments “satirical” diminishes the seriousness of his article and amounts to a back-handed compliment, Dr. Igwe.

“Did God invent mankind–or Did Mankind invent the ‘idea’ of God–to whom we have attributed powers supernatural?”
    I believe–as would Mr. Frett–the LATTER case.

People need to realise that since there have been, and there exists hundreds of religions praising any thousands of supposed Gods, then the obvious conclusion would be that ALL RELIGIONS are cultural phenomena INVENTED by humans to make his reality rational.
And, paradoxically, by doing so created the IRRATIONAL. That is: “Humans invented the ‘idea’ of God who is supposed to have created Mankind.”
We cannot have it both ways!
    Mr. Frett is not irrational.

Robert, Mr Fretts problem is not that he is irrational, he is to rational. He chooses to believe only the facts that fit his way of thinking.

The theory of evolution is just that, an unproven theory. Hundreds of extra Biblical (outside the Bible) prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Jesus walked the earth, was given credit for unexplained miracles, was arrested, put on trial and crucified. The body that was put under the guard of the Roman Special forces (who were not followers) disappeared. Something happened to make the followers hold on even in the face of death.

These are facts that can be proven by going outside the Bible. There is more evidence for Jesus, then for Julius Ceaser. Plato, Aristotle etc. Rational people can not explain them away or erase them.

Tell that to the Jews–to whom Jesus came to “Messiah”–that have rejected him! And who themselves have been literally crucified and historically ostracized by Christians: Adolf Hitler, the Catholic Church, the Spanish Inquisition come to mind.
The problem with religions is that their heavy demands and lofty expectations exceed our puny and often depraved abilities.

Boy Frett, you getting better each time you publish an article. I had to read this one twice, deep and 100% spot on!! Don’t mind the noise, I don’t agree with you all the time but lately you been hitting the nail on the head. Sadly most people don’t like to think for themselves and rather be in the ‘in-crowd’ than to do the sensible thing(s).

Frett needs to stop dealing in half truths. The statement that “Christianity was used to break them” is an (for some) easy to swallow statement that is based in smokescreens and distortion. Misunderstood scripture and a perversion of God’s Word are things of man. Careful unbiased research and diligent study reveal that the slavery system that existed in the culture of the time that scripture speaks of was FAR different from the slave culture that committed the atrocities the Frett so often refers to. There is no Biblical sanction for slavery, mistreatment of woman, curses on people of color, or Holy Wars. Frett like so many others blames mans perversion of the Word on God.

Do you know ehat the real bible says….Not the King James version we grew up on……and King James was a filthy man so anything he is involved in I take with a grain of salt…The closest thing to the orginal Bible is the Jewish Torrah…..Mr. frett has a point because in history religion was always used to break people and was used as justification for most of the worlds atrocities. This article is spot on and YES I believe in God and still open minded to Mr. Frett writings…it’s PROVOCATIVE!

I do know what the original scriptures that all 3 (Muslim, Jew and Christian) major religions start with. I also read and speak Bible Greek. I study from the original scriptures. Judas Iscariot your name loudly proclaims your ignorance masquerading as supposed wisdom. King James lifestyle is not revelant as he did not do any writing or editing of the work that was comissioned in his name. You and many others attack God for mans problem. The perversion of scripture by man over the ages can not be blamed on God. I challange all who believe like you to find an instance of Bible backed slavery (as practiced by those that Frett refers to), gender discrimination, or prejiduce against peope of color. Really READ the Bible, find out what words like “The Cushite or the Edomite” mean. Stop the loudly proclaimed IGNORANCE!

Judas Iscariot, you are forgiven for getting my name wrong. I understand that someone with such a limited way of thinking, has to resort to bad language instead of intelligent debate. I am glad to see that you are in total agreement with my post, man has perverted religion to justify unjust criminal behavior. Its sad that people (like Frett) blame this perversion on the Christian faith instead of those persons who misused, and misquoted what the Bible really says.

The bible does sanction slavery once it’s not a Jew being enslaved. It’s somewhere in the morass of deuteronomy or was it Leviticus? Please don’t mislead

Mr Frett and I will never see eye to eye on matters of religion, and while he does not seek or need my approval fairness demands that I write, Mr Frett is to be commended for two things:

    1) His statement that all religions are equally foolish. By so stating, he gave validity to his opinions as stated over the past series of articles that singled out Christianity for special attack. We can disagree but we respect the courage of personal conviction.

    2) His observations regarding the US Supreme court show wisdom and were stated with clarity.
