The Road Town Public Library is reminding parents, guardians and the wider community that while children are welcomed at the library, young children are not to be left unattended for extended periods or for an entire work day.

The Library is a controlled environment and is not equipped to provide child care or babysitting services. The library notes an increase in this trend particularly during the summer, Easter and Christmas holiday periods which causes a problem. Parents and guardians are asked to take note and make alternate arrangements.
