A national of the Dominican Republic had his stay in the Virgin Islands cut short before being nabbed by Police and Immigration Officers just last week.
Reports are that the man was smuggled into the territory aboard a white 22ft speedboat and dropped off by the Quito Dock in Cane Garden Bay.
A resident  witnessed the activity and observed that the man was clearly unaware of his surroundings, as he simply lingered in a small space before squatting on a rock.
Police were called in and the man was apprehended then taken to  the Cane Garden Bay Police Station. Police conducted a search of his person, where they discovered more than $2,000 cash in his pocket and another $4,500 in his traveling bag.
He provided a name to the authorities that was consistent with those on the identification documents found in his possession. He later denied that identity and claimed another.
The man was deported between September 19 and 20.

THANKS TO THE METAE BUT OBSERVANT person that reported this.
The real problem is not the people in general its our people here who is doing these things so we can not forget that, we cant punish these people we need to get to the bottom of these behavier here… All said and done gave him back all of his money and god knows who local he paid to get here so don;t go about taking his money deal with it the rightful and correct way…
what about his money
what is really wrong with this spanish people? You rent your apartment to one and they have about six people living there. They loud and talk and party 24/7.
The BVI is too overloaded with them now man.
Dont forget yall once came to our country in search of food and better future. And jus to make it clear we look out for one another unlike you who will probably see one of your own kind in need of help and you wouldnt help them. The world spins more than once.. Talk NOW!!!
yall came to our country first and search for work, and love it so much that 90% stay and never came back to the bvi. that’s why we are here beecause we have rights. get your history togethere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u got to be an idiot to say this i from the bvi and i admire the way spanish people live yes is true that they will have many people living in one apartment but is because they will never let their own fall unlike we who would see someone in need and even we can help we wont because is not the way they bring us up……another thing i know me as a land lord can say is that spanish people always have ur place clean…we should be thanking spanish people and the government should be allowing them to enter and exit as they please now that they need us because when we needed them they had their arms open for us but i guess alot of us forget our history or our past….RESEARCH
The authorities should have waited to see who was coming to receive this man…never know where that information might have led them.
i hope u kept the money
Unless it was yours.
