I really hope that when you replace that plane , you purchase something good, all your plane are very noise.
On which Island did this occur??? It is not clear whether the hangar was at Beef Island or Antigua or Dominica or elsewhere??? I don’t recall seeing this on our local news. One would think that our local news would not miss it if it was here. WHEN THEY UPDATE PLEASE GIVE CLEARER DETAILS
It happened in St. John’s Antigua at VC Bird, not here. Agreed the article should have stated this.
Is there a BVI LIAT hangar? The release say the the fire is at the Company’s hangar and that it maintains operations from VC Bird, pretty clear to me.

Wow allu need to read and understand. It clearly states where it happened. My gosh
Wow. Glad no one was hurt. On the plus side, I doubt this will have any impact on LIAT’s punctuality. They can’t get any later than they are already…
not sure when you last used LIAT but I was on their aircraft yesterday and both islands I visited, they left early because all their passengers had checked it.
We picked up passengers at SXM as well and those were waiting for us on the tarmac in a a/c bus and we all got back to Tortola 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.
All in all LIAT, a great trip!
Fire is scary. But thanks for keeping us informed bvinews
