FIRST MANGO ARRAY & TROPICAL FRUIT FESTIVAL THIS FRIDAY

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour and the Department of Agriculture
invites residents and visitors to the BVI’s first one-day Mango Array and Tropical Fruit
Festival on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park from
10am to 6pm.
The festival will promote mango awareness in fun activities for all, with judging of
mango recipes, food competition, a display of local fruits available at this time of the year, a
mango eating competition for children, quizzes, games, face painting, bobbing for mangoes,
fruit tree production training sessions, and crop husbandry and management, along with a
propagation session which includes air layering, budding, and grafting,
