A German national died on cruise ship MV Aida which was docked in Road Town yesterday.
Leonard Hoernes, 83, became unconscious shortly after he was observed coughing heavily, sources say.
CPR was administered by a doctor onboard the ship, but he was eventually confirmed dead.
David Funeral Home retrieved the body from the ship.
BVI News understands the man was taking medication for heart complications.
This news comes just five days after 43-year-old John McWhinnie of New York died while snorkeling with his wife at Savannah Bay.
The couple was staying at Little Dix Bay Hotel.
