I think my boyfriend is gay

I have a problem. My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for over a year now. He is a real nice guy, very compassionate and all. But he is not at all interested in sex. He never talks about or he never make any “move” on me.
Don’t get me wrong you know. I am not interested in sex really but at this stage I think we should have some kind of emotional attachment which would include kissing and you know, other things.
But he doesn’t seems to be interested in that. Lately it has gotten worse and I am beginning to think that he might be gay. The thought is very frightening and I don’t know what to do at this point.
What should I do?

Dear Wondering: It is time for you to have a good chat with your boyfriend. Maybe he is avoiding the sex talks because he is shy or maybe he wants to leave these things for after you all get married. However, at this stage I think you two should be able to talk about almost anything.
In your talk with him, ask him what he expects in the relationship and where it should be heading. Also tell him of your expectations. Don’t be shy, lay it out straight and gauge his reaction. And I don’t think that he is really gay.

If he was jumping your bones you would complain that all he is interested in is sex. He is being a gentleman and you are still complaining. Some young men were raised with morals. Some young men are virgins and want to remain that way until they are married.
Have you tried talking to your boyfriend about your feelings? There are still some decent young men out there who respect women. I think he is one of them.

It is strange indeed the way relationships goes these days but long ago this was almost the norm.
A few things that could be causing this:
1. Maybe he was raised the old fashion way;
2. He was raised in a Christian home;
3. He is not attracted to you sexually;
4. He is getting his sex else where;
5. Maybe he has a small penis and is shame to have sex with you.
Sit down and talk to him and find out what’s up!

@Some Help!, most likely his penis is small and he is insecure about that, I have been through that same thing and I had to make the first move. Sure nuf his penis was just a couple inches but I had to make him feel comfortable with it. Make the first move girl, and do not act surprise with what you see, let him feel confident, even if you have to fake it.
