TEAM BVI (Left to right): Jaden Marshall, Bradford Green, Giselle Archibald-Bowers, Lawton Green and Dominic Monroe (not pictured).

The Makos Swim Club returned from last weekend’s USVI Short Course National Championships with a total medal haul of 14.

The group of five all competed in the 8 and under and 10 and under age group divisions, and came away with both high-point award trophies in that age group for boys and girls; Giselle Archibald-Bowers and Bradford Green were the recipients of those awards having amassed the most points in their age group overall.

The Makos boys 100 freestyle relay team of Jaden Marshall, Dominic Munro, Bradford Green and Lawton Green pulled off a nail-biting second place finish in that event. This was another record-breaking competition for the young swimmers who continue to impress with their hard work and determination.

Coach Elsworth Phillip continues to expect and receive great performances from the group, and last weekend was just another testament to their hard work and continued success.

Makos Swim Club thanks KPMG, Prospect Reef and the BVI Swim Federation for their contributions to the team.

Bradford Green, Giselle Archibald-Bowers 8 and under age group high points champions.
