Miss Gorgeous to kick off Easter Festival activities

The Virgin Gorda Festival Committee’s Pageant Committee is gearing up for what is expected to be an exciting year of pageantry.
According to Dawn Flax, pageant committee chairperson, the show that will kick off all Easter Festival proceedings, will be “Miss Gorgeous”, scheduled to take place on December 26, 2010. The application deadline is November 15, 2010.
Other shows that will take place before the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival are “Miss Bold & Beautiful”, “Prince & Princess” and “Miss Easter Festival”. Deadlines for applications and show dates for these pageants will be announced at a later date.
Other pageant committee members include Christine Parrillon, Siobhan Flax, Nelda Vanterpool, Cathy Ann Bascombe, Christine Stevens Deirdre Chiverton, Mignon Williams, Dawn Challenger, Lizette Williams, Sharon Flax-Mars and Adriana Adonis. The committee welcomes new members.
