Wednesday, July 18 – In delivering on its mandate to ‘bring the world to you’, the BVI Post Office has a new location and is offering a new service in all efforts to provide convenience and enhance the customers’ experience.
Speaking to the Department of Information and Public Relations, acting Postmaster Ms. Pascha Stoutt said the BVI Post Office now operates its new internet shopping service EZ Shopper, in addition to eZone, out of its new location in the Maduro Building near the roundabout.
She said both the relocation of the office and new service corresponds to the department’s mandate of being customer-focused.
“We strive to keep on the competitive edge, while keeping our customers happy, and we found that a more central location in Road Town would increase convenience, and in fact, better facilitate our new online shopping service,” Ms. Stoutt said.

According to Retail and Marketing Manager Ms. Debra James, the online service EZ Shopper is an offshoot of eZone, which is the BVI Post’s premier online shipping service.
Ms. James explained that the intention of the service is to accommodate those customers who may not have a credit card, for those online stores that do not accept international credit cards and also to avoid vendor issues with shipping to commercial addresses.
“This new service shows BVI Post’s commitment to stay one step ahead of its competitors in better addressing our customers’ needs. It truly is an excellent service which I encourage our present and potential customers to use,” Ms. James said.
To begin using the service, persons with an eZone account will need to log in and click on the “Create a Shopping List” link. After which, add the URL address or link of the item you wish to buy in the space provided. Indicate the colour, quantity and size. Add any other information you deem necessary and click submit to complete your entry. After BVI Post receives the entry, a representative will forward an invoice with the amount owed. Customers are asked to take the invoice to the nearest eZone agency to remit payment and items will then be ordered. An eZone agent will contact customers once the package(s) is/are received.
To sign up for eZone and for more information, telephone 468-4189, or visit the website www.getezone.com, or email [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected]
Persons will also get the opportunity to learn more about EZ Shopper and eZone at BVI Post’s Customer Appreciation Day on Friday, August 3.
The BVI Post, included in the Ministry of Finance’s portfolio, is responsible for postal communication and provides mail service to more than 189 countries around the world.

i personally think that these kind of buildings should have them own land and open space even if its out of town the town is too crowded governtment should look into that some of those retail store can go else where and use those spots for something else…
I visited the New Post Office yesterday and I was SO DISAPOINTED. To say that the new place is mediocre would be to put a good spin on things. All that paper on the windows, you dont know if they open or not. No slot to deposit mail. Inside look like something out of a 50′s movie. Lord when will we improve our standards
Yea boiii. Look joke
OJ put all that in motion??? GET REAL!! Ezone was already in the BVI under Tortola Express and they were EXPENSIVE and still ARE!! That is why Tortola Express left them and joined with AREOPOST..
anybody know how quick they ship from miami? I used this once and it took over a week to get my stuffs. Might as well use Tropical
Might as well buy a ticket and fly yourself. You ever thought how these things are delivered to BVI for POst Office? They don’t have a jet, they have to use other services to get stuff here so it’s a partnership. They can’t be blamed if their service provider has a mishap. if you want your thing next day use FedEx, it’s simple.
The parking is not ideal at the moment, as you will have to park on an unsurfaced and undemarkated area towards the general market.
This you must know, but typically you begin by amplifying a minor inconvenience. Check the quality of the service, its reliability, convenience and cost, and see how it compares with any other public post office in the region. Then let’s talk.

visit this web page everyday as it presents feature contents, thanks
Where did you guys park when it was on Main Street? If they put it paraquita Bay or Duffs Bottom then it would be “WHO PUT A POST OFFICE OUT OF TOWN!”
So where are you suppose to park?????
walk your lazy asses. In other countries people don’t park around the city. 90% of us work in the city, walk your ass! Where do you park to go Banco? Where do you park to go Scotia? where do you park to go FirstBank? WALK YOUR ASS!! When you travel to bigger countries you have no choice but to walk. We want to be developing but still complaining.
yeap walk your lazy ass with a oversized heavy box.
Tortola Express have parking for 5 cars and most time you go there there’s only 1 or 2 vacant. How people surviving? Ya’ll just love to complain too damn much. If you have a big package, park in the market with your hazard light on, if you blocking, do your business then get out. No excuses! DHL, FEDEX etc pick up and drop off heavy boxes all the time through town with no parking, they’re still around doing business. HUSH!
I guess if u collecting big heavy packages u must park a mile away to get them to ur vehicle. Just look at the post office for instance in St Thomas there is spacious parking for customers because they know people do come to collect packages not just letters. Besides that parking lot by the market is filled to capacity from early morning by persons who work in the area. When the Post Office was on Main Street it was inconvenient because of no parking, which is why they should have done better this time around !
At least on Main Street you could just drop the box off or pick it up – move, park and go back and take care of your business.
How does FEDEX and DHL manage with their heavy boxes, having to deliver to places without parking? How do people manage down at Tortola Express where there is NO PARKING? You all just love to complain, that’s that. The surrounding area of the new location has plenty of parking you all just love confusion.
Now where ever I travel to, the post office has parking. You want people to pick up packages etc conveniently.
Good move coming closer to town, but they need to lobby for assigned post office parking.
Nonesense your name is quite fitting.
What starts wrong with always end wrong. The BVI started wrong so I don’t know what parking in that area you talking about. I agree maybe it should’ve been moved to one of Oneal’s new buildings up Lower Estate where there’s plenty parking but it is what it is. IF it wasn’t parking people would have something else to bitch and moan about, that’s our nature.
So what do u call the big open space where paunchy n Neto parks?
STILL NO DAMN PARKING. Who the hell puts a post office where there is no parking !! BVI really lacks vision !!!
Check the area behind the building babes
Good thing. All this was put in motion by Mr. OJ Smith, this man doesn’t get the props he deserve. Look at where the Post Office has come from, imagine if we had this man in Government with that kind of action?
this is the second spot that OJ has chosen without parking…1st up by MB and now by maduro building…absolutely no parking… no vision
