The Rotary Club of Road Town at their weekly luncheon indicted Karen Alicia Ward Galloway as their newest member.
Karen Alicia Ward Galloway is a proud mother of three boys and two girls and a beautiful grand-daughter. She graduated from the Arts program at the B.V.I High School (now the Elmore Stout High School) in 1990.
One of her favorite past times was athletics where she competed in the 100,200,400, 4×100, 4×400 meter races. She also competed in Long Jump, Shot Put and Discus, setting several National records.
After completing her secondary education, Karen pursued a career in the Public Sector and worked and trained at a few Hotels and Restaurants such as Peter Island Resort 2000, Sebastian’s on the Beach and Prospect Reef Resort while pursuing a certification of completion in Hotel and Restaurant Management at ICS Online Training Institute.
In July 2003, Karen joined Roadtown Wholesale as a sales representative in the Sales and Marketing Department. She currently holds the position of Executive Secretary. Karen is presently pursuing an Associates Degree in Business Management online at Ashworth College.
Karen feels that by joining the Rotary Club if Road Town she would be able to Give back to the Community , Help others as others have helped her and to Meet other people who share the same passion for service and have the drive to make a difference.
Karen was sponsored by Club President Yvonne Crabbe.
