Olympic Day

The BVI Olympic Committee invites the public to Olympic Day celebrations at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College this Saturday, June 23, 2012.
Everyone is invited to participate in a one- or two-mile run or walk at 7.00am. Registration is at 6.30am.
The run will be followed by a series of events that includes displays by National sports Federations, health and wellness screening, and a discussion panel on sport and its impact on the community. The HLSCC also will host a tour of the VI Maritime Museum and the Roger Downing Mangrove Boardwalk. The Olympic Day programme, which ends at noon, will culminate in a cultural party with performances by the Lashing Dogs, The BVI Heritage Dancers, and The BVI Elite Sky Dancers.
