Third District representative Julian Fraser
Julian Fraser, who labels himself as ‘the liberator’, in seeking re-election to the Third District has encouraged the people of the Virgin Islands to “remember what happened” between 2003 and 2007 before casting their ballots on November 7.
He joined Virgin Islands Party (VIP) At-large Candidate Keith Flax in noting that the public, not just the opposition candidates, should also be grateful for “all the things that happened in this country.”
“That’s all I have to ask you to do, remember. And if you could remember the party that built this country, the Virgin Islands Party (VIP), the only party that has ever done anything for this country worth talking about.”
The Minister of Communications and Works said the VIP has liberated the British Virgin Islands on several fronts including telecommunications.
“I told you I am the liberator,” he said, adding that several plans are afoot to see continued liberalization in the BVI for the benefit of the all the people, foreigners and locals alike.
Frazer reiterated his condemnation of the proposed identification system supported by the National Democratic Party, as well as the “slavery reference” by the NDP’s Second District candidate Claude Skelton-Cline.

But on further reflection the Liberator is right. VIP is the only party to do anything for this country. I guess people like Howard Penn, Glannie Fonseca, Adolph Faulkner and Carlton deCastro weren’t a party and they didn’t do a single thing for this country. Is that what he’s saying? Send help.

everytime i hear Frasers name i lose money from my pocket, he has no interest for the ppl of the bvi….he is not a team players and we have all his faults to proves so. So ppl of the BVI and the 3rd ditrict you better wake up and get him out or you’ll forever be brokes, unemployed and working for the same minimum wages for ever.

All I can remember in 2003 the minster told the NDP “The people are begging you to stop and turn back but you all are so arrogant saying you are moving in the right direction and your’re not turning back.. But wait come election day see if the people dont turn you back.” Now he for got those words. Wait until election day and see if we don’t turn you and BI WATER back..
Yes, Mr. Fraser is correct. Someone need to still tell the people that the VIP still had to deal with some crazy ass matter the NDP administration was doing and made the now Government spend money from the country falling into a hole and not the stress we are facing with regarding to the hospital. If the NDP administration had kept the first Hospital plans and continue with the water issue in the East End, them might have been in power to this day. NDP administration has given us a White Elephant which is the New Hospital regarding to new expensive plans, bad management, poor and crazy errors while building. If people say the VIP didn’t do anything, OMG them are a set of you know what!!!

The land was cleared, the plans were drawn and the hospital project had a construction budget. But when the NDP went in them change the plans, them awarded the contract to this Santo company and didn’t give our local contractors nothing. Them had the people living down in Prospect Reef for free and still the workers were not paying any taxes. Seeing the present new Hospital is nothing compare to the first plans and it was goin to be a much bigger building that would have cover that urgly hill side. The VIP spent money yes and it was from the outstanding bills they found when they were returned to office.

Ask him why Government contracts are being issued for a private development on his family land. They’re there working all through the night, what’s the big rush and what’s the big secret?
Can you imagine if Ronnie had taken Government monies and developed Fish Bay? THey would’ve called bi-elections one time!!! Can you imagine if Mark had taken Government monies and Developed Onemart and Raffles (Lambert), using our tax dollars? It woulda been MASS IN DEH PLACE! Mr Fraser is right we have a lot to be grateful for; We should be grateful that while the country is broke there is still enough money to pay the salaries of the politicians and buy them fancy cars. We should be thankful that the crime in the streets is limited to a few robberies and shootings and has not escalated to a full blown war. Last but not least we should be grateful that in less than 6 weeks we will be rid of this horrible government.

NDP built the annex on the Hospital, after VIP left a big hole in the hill and a mountain of dirt and was pie-assing with it for YEARS! THey built us an annex with proper emergency/waiting/imaging rooms and offices. Dialysis machines and proper area etc. And he will sit there and say only VIP did anything worth talking about? Well I WILL TALK!!!!
