Most of you have daughters or family with little girls.

Why it is that so many men are being arrested for rape and why is it that these men keep being let out on bail?

Do you not realise that pedophilia is a serious sickness? Why do you think that in the US they are registered as sex offenders? Keep slacking off until a man goes on the wrong person’s daughter and she castrates him.

I hope to God this never happens to any of my sisters or the police would be called in when I have the perpetrator’s parts in a bowl of boiling water. After the police will want to lock me up with no bail!!

I believe the men that are not from here needs to be sent home when they commit these sex crimes and the government of their country needs to be notified of their criminal background.

Additionally, the local offenders should be stripped off their working privileges and should not be allowed to live around kids.

Yes it is about time we get this going. The laws are too limited and these monsters are let back on the street to live and work in and around children again. We have to put some action in place to punish them harder, rehabilitate and restrict them from living around children.

I agree and I understand your frustation…..I hope the gov't/judges there listens to the people of the Tola, BVI and get strick with these offenders. These type of offense seems to be taken “like a grain to salt” but let's place the salt in the right place (season their private parts) and then they might think twice…
it's really sad to read about all those molestation crimes going on in that island and folks getting off or out on bail/probataion etc….when will the laws really be handed down to those who needs it??? Is it that way because of “who you/one might know”?? therefore, I am asking for a real judge to please stand firm and deliver for the children/victims…they need to know that their long suffering will not be in VAIN…and that someone really cares….

I Totally agree as I am an aspirign lawyer. I keep saying that one day I do hope to see laws such as what the United States have in place, also found in the Caribbean. Men accused and convicted of rape in the Carribean should be registered in a Sex Offenders Program. The program should be of such that no matter where they live in the Caribbean, law enforcement should be able to pull their files and see their criminal history. Also law enforcement would be able to then determine suitable places where these men could live and that is away from Children.

Secondly communites in a particular country where the man resides also should be aware that the individual was accused of sex crimes. I find that the Caribbean treats men that rape children and minors, lightly and it is a SERIOUS OFFENCE.

I also believe that these men need to be rehabilitated while behind bars, because if they are not they will continue to such over and over again until they someone kills them for their children.
