Orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist joins Bougainvillea Clinic

Bougainvillea Clinic of Tortola, BVI is pleased to announce expansion of its services in the field of orthopedic surgery with the addition of Dr. E. Jordan Stoll, Jr. to the staff on a visiting basis.
Dr. Stoll earned his undergraduate and medical degree at the University of Virginia in 1979 and 1983. He completed a surgical internship at the University of California San Francisco in 1985 and completed his Orthopedic Residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and then a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the American Sports Medicine Institute, also in Birmingham.
Dr. Stoll is board certified in Orthopedics and is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Stoll, is a resident of  Boulder, Colorado, USA and a partner of the Orthopedic Professional Association, PC of Louisville, Colorado, www.orthopro.com.   He is the Team Physician for the Monarch High School football team and volunteer physician for the US Ski Team.
He possesses special expertise in management/repair of sports related injuries. He is particularly adept at advanced shoulder arthroscopy, and knee arthroscopy, arthritis management, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff surgery, shoulder stabilization and SLAP repairs, total joints and fracture work as well as small joint arthroscopy, such as ankle and elbow.
Bougianvillea Clinic, a private hospital in the Virgin Islands, has for several years provided top quality orthopedic surgical services, beginning with Dr. Nagy Darwish in 2006 who first introduced total hip and total knee replacement and repair of complex fractures of the upper and lower limbs here in the BVI. Dr. Darwish is also a Spinal Surgeon, and regularly performs surgery for prolapsed lumbar discs and for spinal canal stenosis.
Our orthopedic services were expanded in 2009 with the addition of Dr. Klas Buring ,a general orthopedic surgeon, also with special expertise in sports related injuries. Dr. Buring sees patients at Eureka Medical Clinic and does surgical operations at Bougainvillea Clinic.
Both Dr. Darwish and Dr. Buring continue to provide the Virgin Islands community with orthopedic services on a fulltime basis. Dr. Stoll will see patients with problems in his area of special expertise, thus augmenting the range of orthopedic services available here in the BVI.
This expansion of orthopedic services ( joint and bone surgery) at the Bougainvillea Clinic means that only in rarely is it necessary for BVI residents and visitors to be referred off-island for repair of bone fractures or for surgery to bones and joints, including joint replacement and spinal surgery.

I have been monitoring the development of this clinic and at the pace at which it is growing in size and services, whether we will need Peables. In two to three years when it is finished, furnished and staffed we will all know.
God bless the Doctors, Nurses, therapist receptionist at the Boganvillia clinic I recently had a knee replacement done by Dr Darwish and Gillian was my therapist and I can say with the kind words from nurse Colleens and the others with the help of God they gave me a new lease on life , Thank you Thank you folks keep on the good work God Bless and keep each and every one of you!!!!
