Everything that comes out On the market people run to the stores & purchase, back then there were no Simlac, Gerber etc, etc, we got corn & flour pop, porridge & we grow up healthy & happy & rarely SICK. Children tend to get sick be/c PARENTS don’t spend time PREPARING HOME GROWN COOK FOOD/VEGETABLES, & give their children FRUITS. When u go to the Daycares, 95% of the children foods r processed/can foods, even to the snacks, cheetos, sweet biscuits etc, etc, & too much CANDIES. The nutritional diet for children in the BVI is very POOR.

Now, where Enviromental Health is concerned, I’ve been to restaurants & they need to shut sum of them down, I could name a few but mostly the 1 on mainstreet, always have roach & rats in that place in addition in there looks like a disco be/c in there is so dark. Insects & rodents r pests that r common but their r measures in place to eradicate them but at the end of the day it boils down to POLITICS & WHERE u FROM. The betterment of peoples stomachs r not important & or maintaining a clean establishment, what matters is MONEY they r making or loosing.

It is bad enough that parents have already given their children this milk. Now the problem is that parents are being told that they will not be given any cash refunds for the milk and are asked to get something else from the store. The problem is that they don’t need something else. They need milk for their babies and it is unfair to tell the parents that they cannot get the money so they could buy alternative milk of their choice for their babies. A package of 3 of this milk at Cash and Carry cost about $46.00.
