The Department of Inland Revenue is informing all businesses and persons selling liquor in the BVI that all outstanding Liquor Licences, for the period from June 1 – November 30, 2012 or prior periods must be paid at the Department of Inland Revenue offices no later than 3:30 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012.
Payments can be paid at the following locations:
Tortola – Inland Revenue Department, first floor of the Central Administration Building;
Virgin Gorda – Inland Revenue Department, Vanterpool Administration Building;
Business owners are encouraged to update their Liquor Licence records and make the required payment/s without further delay. Notice is hereby given that Liquor Licences outstanding after November 29, 2012 will be subject to additional enforcement measures including, but not limited to, the closure of the premises and the lodging of a formal objection to the renewal of the Liquor Licence at the next hearing at the Magistrates Court on December 3, 2012.
Liquor Licence fees are payable annually on June 1, for the period June 1 – November 30, and December 1 for the period December 1 – May 31.
