PHOTO OF THE DAY: ‘Support your child’

A BVI resident sent us this photo while on a trip to St. Maarten.
Apparently, a mother was frustrated with the lack of child support and took action in her own hands by spraying graffiti on her child’s father’s car.
Photographers – novice, amateur or professional – in the British Virgin Islands are asked to submit photos, photographer credit and caption to [email protected] for consideration for the Photo of the Day feature, daily on bvinews.com. Submissions can be accompanied by a brief profile and contact information of the photographer. Submissions will be published in the order they were received.

There in the B.V.I there is NOT active laws that realy helps single mothers. When supporting a child others countries takes into considerations: housing, school, clothing, food and entertaiment, and the CHILD SUPPORT PAYMENTS ARE CALCULATED according to the father income. BUT it is a shame that here IN THE B.V.I child support is just at most two (2) hundreds dollars. So asingle mother that have not marry again have to work to pay all the rest of biil. So let;s think all the way around: WHAT IF SINGLE MOTHERS SWICTH ROLES AND PAY THEM THE 2 MISERABLES HUNDREDS DOLLARS AND they deal with all the rest.!! The cildren does not live in the street, aren’t they?

The caption in Dominica says a FORMER resident of Dominica while the caption in BVI says a BVI RESIDENT. where is the confusion? maybe if you take more time out to properly read these posts before commenting we would have less SPAM to process!

This is no joke …ladies if u read this ….i think some of u need to do this …..because here in the BVI we as fathers bling blinging and don’t study our kids…………….Just make a unanimous call to bvinews, bviplatinumnews and virginislandsnewsonline …so the others and the community could just see who these dead beat fathers are………remember the court said a few weeks ago that in just over 2 weeks they collected in excess $100,000.00 in child support and still in jail one father owed over $10,000.00 and another one over 14,000.00 in child support…………..u got my support on this………….

Well she did the wrong thing in taking the law in her own hands, in the end she have to pay for a new and better spray job………when it could be him pay her the money to feed the child…So next time think wise..

Hmmm, this is not going to make him pay it no faster, this is childish & sad, but since I grow up with out a father in my life, i think she should have cut the tires to! lmao!!!!
