Black Butterfly
This is the ghut that was built by the junction leading to the hills of Diamond Estate. Some know it be next to Ishmael Hodge’s residence. Yardies know it as by the mango tree. This is passing Ronnie’s Bar.
PS: and this was not a million dollar project…just clear effective and intelligent construction!
Give thanks for the acknowledgements. Blessings of Nature
I feel so ashamed. I am from Huntums Ghut and don’t even remember this.
I would say its a river in it’s own right. Tortola just doesn’t have the rainfall to sustain it. The beauty of God in nature.
Virgin Islander living abroad for over forty years.
WOOW!!! thats the tola i remember boy
This is how the ghuts should be fixed no need for $1M contracts that end up with worthless infrastructure
I remember when we use to have so many rain in the 80′s the almost seemed to run all year long.
that use to be our place to wash the cars
its just what nature little secret is, have anyone every see the huge one by the road from carrot going up to Cane Garden Bay/windy hill area that one is beautiful too in the rainy season
I’ve asked a few people that live in huntums ghut where exactly that is and no one can tell me?
@where exactly is that?, its next to ishmel hodge’s house
