This is excellent for the BVI. A very proud moment. However, a gentle reminder – while only a few can go on to be professionals and make a living in sports, many can still excel academically. Many can be accountants, lawyers, doctors, teachers, nurses, and the list goes on. So as you celebrate this sporting achievement today, please remain focus on what you are good at and always strive for excellence. Your academic achievement may not get this recognition but it will be equally GREAT for the BVI. You too will be heroes!!!!

I am not criticizing or anything, but sports ALWAYS gets the attention in the BVI, well track and field. How come when other members or organizations go aboard and perform exceptional their welcome home is not as great?

    But COngrats guys!

I was unfortunately unable to meet the remainder of the team at Beef Island. I hope that they were greeted warmly as well.

Extremely proud of our athletes and and supporting staff of coaches and others. You did us proud and demonstrated that even though we are small in size we are big and powerful in heart. God Bless You all.
