POEM – Ladies: The Question is Why?

Why do we treat the dawgs as if they are kings?
Then they turn and treat us as if we are nothing
When they come to us with their lies, we instantly believe
Then turn and cry shame when we realize that we’ve been deceived
We know that they are not single, but yet we didn’t see that we are worth more
So instead of sending him home, we settle in the game where he’s the only one who’ll score
On this field only the women gets hurt, it’s the men who always win the game
But on each other is where we always cast the blame
The one on the outside blames the one inside, and the one inside blames the one outside
Come on ladies I’m asking you, where on earth is our pride?
We always blame each other, but never yet blame the man
This is what I find hard to understand
What problems is he solving by creeping around in the dark with you?
What will he do if, he leaves her for you and problems come, tell me what you think he’s going to do
How and when will men be able to take us as women seriously?
If we are aiding their cowardice behavior, continuously
I’ve been both the mistress and a wife; yes I’ve been on both sides of the fence
And I’m saying ladies it’s time for us to stand up and make a desperately needed difference
If we don’t gain, claim and hold on to our self respect
Then the growth of broken hearted, men, women and children is what is there for us to expect
When we are the doers we think it’s fun, we don’t see the point in making a fuss
But when we’re on the opposite side of the table we’re ready to fight when it’s being done to us
How easy is it for a man to get a woman in bed nowadays
All he needs are the right words, and they are gone on their merry ways
Yes all he has to do is talk right, whisper to her what she wants to hear
And he has his way with her and neither looks back without a care
Cheating is a thing that has been going on for ages
And the standards to which it is done these days are plummeting in its stages
In these days more times it’s the women who are aggressive
So morality is depleting and immorality is undeniably progressive
Cheating has never and will never do anything but cause pain
Just listen to anyone who’s in a relationship, and hear them complain

@Take off the blinders and wake up: I was not planning to even respond to you again, because i know that this can go on for days, and i quite frankly don’t have the time nor the interest.
You said you read the poem twice but based on your comments you still have not completely understand what it is realllly saying, you think i’m mad at the world i’m not, i’m married i have a husband, i’m not mad at no one.
Allow me to break it down for ya, i’m talking about the men who have wives and women at home and they decide to cheat, they may not at this point have problems but because they can’t keep their tails between their legs, now that causes problems in the relationship DAWGS, (that’s who i’m calling dawgs). Then there are those who DO have problems at home, but instead of talking things out with their partners they go and make it worse by cheating with another woman, i call them COWARDS. Why i call them cowards because running away from the problem, talking about the problem, and ignoring the problem is NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM just igniting it. A MAN seeks to find solutions, that is not an easy task to do that’s what makes him a man and not a dawg and a coward.
Now women now knows that these men are married and are involved with women yet they still aid their behaviour by sleeping with them because they think and believ that they are “HELPING” them, I’m not talking about the ones who don’t know the men are married or involved,i’m talking about he ones who KNOWS and stll do it regardless. Then they are the ones who’ll say they dont’ want to get marriage, they don’t wanna marriage because of the fear they have of the baggage that’s behind them will catch up to them and run over them.
Cheating is done by both men and women, not all men and women cheat, i’m not calling all men dawgs and cowards. Now i am thinking I may be wrong that you got mad because you are guilty of the things that has been addressed in this poem, the truth shall be an offence, if this offends you my dear, then seek to change, i used to be a cheater and an adulteress too, i’m not anymore, Thanks be to God. I sincerely hope that you finally understand what it is that is being said, i’m not looking any arguments with you, if you don’t get it this time around, you’ll never get it, have a good day.

Anywho,cheating is not limited to men women do it too and they are more smarter not to get caught.
It certainly is a sad thing,if you take good care of your man and do him right and he still cheat then you have all right to call him a dawg if you want but there are some good men out there,men do cheat for a reason,mabey his woman too stiff in bed and he want some motion,those kinds of things.
I see why everyone jumped on your back and i will just add to it,. It’s obvious you did not read the poem or if you did you did not understand what it is all about. I would concur with the person who said seems like reading and comprehension was hard for you in school. Try reading it again maybe you might grasp something.

ITS STILL RUBBISH. you did wrong, now take the consequences like a good little girl.I read the whole thing, twice, to see if i could in any way defend it, but the fact remains that if the men who cheat are “dawg” then the women they cheat with are…….yup. If women like u would accept certain truths and stop casting blame then u could properly address the problem. MEN CHEAT FOR A REASON- ALWAYS, sorry no getting around it. The fact that u are now sorry u did it doesnt excuse u from judgment. @what rubbish: I’m gonna try to keep this civil because it seems as if you got a very small mind. If you can read, but not only read words but actually understand what is actually being said you wouldn’t make the comment you made.
First off i’ve been on both sides of the fence yes, i’ve been the mistress and i am a misses, i’ve done the cheating and i have recieved the cheating. I mentioned that because i want ppl like you to know that i’ve been there, and done that, so i know what i’m talking about. Cheating only brings about pain, add fuel to the fire, maybe you just read the first part and was too lazy to read the poem in its entirety.
I’m not calling ALL men dawgs because not all men are, you fool, but guilty concience needs no accusers. This poem is to point out some mistakes we make as women, then we turn around and call men dawgs, because of the mistakes WE AS WOMEN MAKE all the time.
I can see that reading and comprehension was your biggest challenge in school, have yourself a blessed day my dear brother.
This is a game that is played by both men and women. Women cheat just like men. The only thing is that men are more likely to get caught. Women are better at it.
i’d add more but i think i nailed it with my name. “the dawgs”? i always say to women calling men dogs, that if were dogs and its u were sleeping with and making children then that makes u a……., ok then. Until women admit and look into urselves then u will always be cheated on. I love how in ur poem man are evil and women are pure, who is it that we r cheating with? oh yeah, WOMEN, LOL. u’ve been on both side of the fence…..so sad, so u tried to take someones man and u lost, so u wrote this poem, Boo hoo.
