Wednesday, December 8 – Police are interviewing persons in relation to a reported robbery of a pedestrian by two masked men around midnight last night.

Based on preliminary reports, a resident of Fat Hogs Bay was walking home from a nearby bar when two masked men dressed in black clothing emerged from behind a row of vehicles parked on the side of the road and demanded his gold chain. One of the perpetrators then struck the victim in the head with what appeared to be a firearm and ripped his chain from his neck.

One of the perpetrators is described as about 5’9 and stocky while the other is described as slim and about 5’5. Both were dark in complexion.

Persons who may have information that could assist police in the identification of these perpetrators can contact the Anti-Drug and Violent Crime Task Force at 468-2719 or the Road Town Police Station at 494-3822.  All information will be held in the strictest confidence.

Persons can also give that information anonymously by calling the Crimestopper’s hotline number 1-800-TIPS (8477) or logging on to the police website at www.rvipolice.com under the heading “Help Us Solve a Crime”.

The change has to start, we have a new generation which has been created in the base of consuming. Today if you don’t have a gold chain nor a blackberry, you are out to stile.
The problem is that must of the robberies are committed by our young generation, but is not right to judge and put all the fault on this generation.

The real Fault are. Less Education and moral code. But we need more role models, man and woman with clean background that we as country can be so proud of them.

We have to make the change.

We have to make the change.

Is Time to make the CHANGE.

BVI’S is a great place full of wonderful people.
