Tuesday morning robbery
The Virgin Gorda Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two gunmen who robbed a bar manager of proceeds early this morning.

The individual was on his way home around 1:10am when, on stopping on Millionaire Street, he was approached by two masked men.

The perpetrators assaulted the employee with guns and demanded money which was secured in the vehicle. The two men eventually removed cash from the vehicle and then fled on foot.

The victim received minor injuries.

Both perpetrators are described as having local accents and wearing all black with their faces covered.

One is believed to be about 5’8 medium built while the other is about 5’11 slim built.

Head of the Virgin Gorda Police Division Acting Chief Inspector Leslie Spencer is asking for the cooperation particularly from residents in Virgin Gorda in identifying the perpetrators.

“We seldom see this type of crime in the Virgin Gorda community. We are asking for any type of information that could help in the positive identification these perpetrators. Persons can contact me personally with this information at 468-9595,” he said.
