Public invited to participate in E-Waste Drive

The Department of Waste Management, in collaboration with Island Recycling and Environmental Solutions, HLSCC, Green VI and Sims Recycling Solutions invite the public to participate in an electronic waste drive on Friday, December 7 and Saturday, December 8.
Electronic waste such as laptops and laptop batteries, computers, televisions, cell phones and cell phone batteries will be collected at the Emancipation Festival Grounds on Friday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alternately persons may take their electronic waste directly to the Incinerator Plant at Pockwood Pond.
