All government departments and statutory bodies are invited and encouraged to participate in this year’s Parade of Lights and Christmas Extravaganza, under the theme, “Share, Give, and Care for The Christmas and The New Year.” The deadline for registration has been extended to Friday, 30 November.
The celebration, which is jointly hosted by the Deputy Governor’s Office and the Department of Information and Public Relations, is scheduled for Friday, 14 December beginning at 7:00pm. The parade route extends from Government House and continues along Waterfront Drive to the Roundabout, along DeCastro Street and culminates at the Central Administration Building where the Christmas Extravaganza will begin at 8:00pm.
Members of the public sector including statutory bodies interested in taking part in the Parade of Lights and Christmas Extravaganza are asked to contact the Department of Information and Public Relations at telephone 468-3701 ext. 2730. Members of the private sector interested in participating in the Christmas Extravaganza are asked to telephone Ms. Queyanna Guishard at the Deputy Governor’s Office at telephone 468-3701 ext. 3927.
