Registration in progress for third BVIAA Development Meet

Teams have until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, to register for the BVI Athletics Association third Development Meet scheduled for Saturday, February 5 at the A. O. Shirley Recreation Grounds. The meet’s focus will be on relay events.
Registration will not be accepted after Tuesday’s 5 p.m. deadline and there will be no registration the day of the meet. Registration forms can be collected from and emailed to the BVIAA General Secretary Stephanie Russ Penn, before the deadline at [email protected] or [email protected]
Activities are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Shot targeting females. Running events will convene at 10 a.m., a Medley Relay—200, 200, 400, 800 meters—for Under 15 through Open divisions.
That event will be followed by the 4 x 150 meters for Under 9 males and females. Other events on the program include the 4 x 200 meters targeting Under 11 and Under 13 divisions males and females.
The program ends with the 4 x 400 meters, for Under 15 through Open male and female divisions.
