Seabed developers encouraged to pay outstanding fees

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour is reminding the public that fees for seabed developments for 2011, including jetties, docks, haul-out facilities, barge ramps, reclamations, subleases, environmental fees and royalties are past due.

Reclamations, royalties, environmental, sublease and jetty fees are due between January 1 – March 1, 2012 and moorings fees are due on April 1 of each year.

Persons with outstanding balances or current charges are urged to settle their accounts or make arrangements to liquidate the outstanding balances by June 30, 2012 by visiting the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour at the Central Administration Building in the east atrium on the second floor. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, fee collection ends at 3:30 p.m. daily.

Persons with unauthorized seabed developments are also asked to visit the ministry at this time to regularize such.

The Ministry greatly appreciates the cooperation of all developers.
