Seniors share VI history during Seniors’ General Knowledge Quiz

Turnbull, Mrs. Joyce Titley and Mrs. Hilda Smith of the Road Town Seniors’ Team were all smiles after winning Category Two of the first Seniors’ General Knowledge Quiz held last Wednesday at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall as part of Senior Citizens Month. The Long Trench Seniors’ Team aka Shining Stars won Category 1 of the event. Nine teams representing Senior Citizens’ programmes and communities throughout the Territory participated in the Seniors’ General Knowledge Quiz which tested their knowledge of Virgin Islands’ Cultural Traditions and Expressions, General Knowledge, Men in Society, Music, Political Leaders, Significant Dates and Events, and Women in Society.
